25.01.2022 You could be mistaken for confusing this magnificent winter's day with spring. Gardening, renovating, just enjoying the sunshine!

25.01.2022 We held the first church service in 22 years yesterday for the magnificent Back to Barrington event.

23.01.2022 The Vestry. We're stepping back in time now to 1907. With nothing standing between the wild, windy roaring 40's and the Methodist Church, it can get quite blowy here. In 1906 the winds blew so hard, the church was moved off of it's foundations. To stop this happening again The Vestry was added to the western end of the church; in essence a massive wind break. I,m sure the local preacher was glad to have somewhere to hang his robes and keep the sacramental wine too! Today I use this room to house my of Lord of the Rings collection amongst other things. In time I hope to built a second kitchen here and a bathroom...but that's a little way off.

03.01.2022 To my friends in Victoria.723 new covid cases, deaths in double figures. You must treat this seriously! We had a problem in Tasmania. After three weeks of hard going...let's face it, it wasn't that hard! However after three weeks of doing the right thing, we turned the problem around. You can do this. Beat the corona virus and stop putting the aged and the vulnerable at risk.
