20.01.2022 Our final day at the FNQ Field Days was certainly our biggest. A big thank you to all those who helped with or visited our stand over the three days, a valuable event by all accounts.

13.01.2022 FNQ Field Days are underway and our pig display is a big draw card. Thanks to the BCC team and TRC colleagues.

12.01.2022 Some 400 seedlings installed today on the inside of the detention wall. A good result for Geoff Onus and his dedicated team. And it's just rained, again!

11.01.2022 Great progress by all involved. Hand rails, reinforced turf, reveg of inside of chamber wall to come, but the end is in sight.

10.01.2022 A real break in the weather at last. So preparations for the concrete spillway and installation of gabion matresses today, prior to the pour mid-week.

10.01.2022 Dave Henry was the winner of our feral pig survey draw from the FNQ Field Days. A tidy $75 courtesy of the Member for Hill. And the map shows more than 90 feral pig sightings provided by landholders themselves, clearly now a huge problem on numerous fronts.

07.01.2022 Good progress this week, detention wall really taking shape.

06.01.2022 Interested in your soil? BCC and TAS are very pleased to present this upcoming Shed meeting. RSVP: [email protected] or 0437 635043

04.01.2022 Thanks to Tableland Ag Services and all those who attended our BMP Shed meeting, next Shed meeting dealing with Soil Health in November.

02.01.2022 A significant milestone today, pouring the spillway itself and finishing the second headwall. Installation will soon commence on box culverts, followed by spillway wingwalls and additional gabion matress on discharge side of wall. Looking good.

02.01.2022 Darren Marshall brought his very practical and science/evidence-based perspective on feral pigs to an enthusiastic group of individuals and groups. It was a first class day with key learnings and insights. Sincere thanks to Darren and all those who came and contributed.

02.01.2022 Work is progressing well at our Tate Road build. The trench for the culverts is in place. The basin itself is really taking shape and will detain a significant volume in our target-range peak flows.
