24.01.2022 A big shout out to Liam and Ryan who are carving it up in NZ for the next 4 days. Both boys had a great day in slalom and jump. Hit the attached link to follow them live over the next few days. http://iwwfed-ea.org/classic/19NZL29/

20.01.2022 An important reminder. It can happen to anyone. Beginners to pros. Wear a life jacket!

19.01.2022 Hello Members, Water Ski Qld Northern Region is looking for expressions of interest for a Level 3 and Level 2 Judging Course to be held in Townsville the weeken...d of the 23rd & 24th November 2019. The Level 3 course is an introductory course & no judging experience is required. At the end of the course, attendees over 15 years will be awarded a level 3 judging accreditation for all 3 events. The Level 2 course requires that participants have completed level 3 and have gained the necessary practical experience to move to Level 2 in that discipline. To be eligible to sit the level 2 course participants must have attended a level 1 judges course and judged at 4 tournaments (1 of those being L class) for the relevant event. This course does involve an exam which the participants must pass, so some study prior to the course is recommended. There is no cost and lunch would be provided. If you are interested please reply to [email protected] or contact Julie Neiberding on 0409 480028 as soon as possible so this course, dates and attendees can be confirmed with Belinda Derrick (Course presenter). We encourage all people to attend the judging courses to increase your knowledge of tournament water skiing and help make our tournaments in the Northern Region run smoothly.

05.01.2022 Congratulations to the Cairns Crew on a great weekend of skiing at the Townsville Croc Run. Special mention to Jesse, Georgie and Mossy, our Croc Run champions

04.01.2022 We are back!! As we have all heard camping is now allowed, so let’s get up and back into the things we love. If you are heading up to the camp grounds, just a few things to remember. 1. Take all your rubbish with you. We no longer have a skip, so please keep the site spotless. 2. Ammenities are to be kept clean and gas heaters packed away in container once finished with. ... 3. Keep any camp fires to the one spot. Hopefully we will have our fire pit area up and running soon. We are planning on having an AGM as soon as possible, we will keep everyone posted with day, location and time when it comes to hand. In the meantime, let us know what you would like to see happen in the upcoming season. Cheers
