14.01.2022 Welcome to our strange new world. Barron Law is still representing our clients in all courts, even if it is being done a bit differently. Clients are NOT to appear at Court in person. I appear by AVL (audio visual link) myself. If there is a need for you to appear, this can be done remotely by telephone. Clients in custody will appear by AVL if necessary. ... NO defended hearings are being held in Local or Children's Court until this virus situation sorts itself out. There are NO jury trials in the District Court. Some Judge Alone trials might be able to proceed, but this depends on witness and client safety. I now have an AVL link to the gaols, so can conference clients in custody through this, but need to book ahead. There are a lot of people trying to use this facility! If you have a case coming up and are already a client, make sure you call me a day or two before the case to discuss where we go from here.
