20.01.2022 LOST DOG. Max, a 15 month old Bull Arab cross wandered away from his owner at about 11.30am yesterday (3rd Dec). Approximately 12km North of Barrow Creek. He's only 15 months old, black with a white neck and stripe down his face. Friendly boy. Owner is offering a reward. Please keep an eye out for him and share this around. The owner is very worried. Inbox Barrow Creek if you see him. Thank you.

14.01.2022 This is getting very scary. In less than a week, another car has been towed in to Barrow Creek Hotel because of hitting a cow. DON'T DRIVE AT NIGHT ON STUART HIGHWAY! Again the passangers received minor injuries, thank goodness.

01.01.2022 This is a direct result of car versus cow. Both occupants of the car received only minor injuries, I don't know how but they did. None of us at Barrow Creek Hotel want a distressed traveller coming in to say there has been an accident. I don't want to ring the nurses and tell them. PLEASE do not drive at night on the Stuart Highway!
