24.01.2022 Had a most satisfying day yesterday when I delivered this very cool Left Handed electric 3 string fretless CBG to its new owner Tim at Tilly's Cafe in Moore. We sat out front in the sunshine for a couple of hours and played around on it, and some other guitars of mine that will be on display (and for sale) in the cafe for the next few weeks. Well......I sat around and played a bit, but Tim kept getting interrupted to make coffee's and awesome burgers for customers. 09.01.2022 I bought this interesting wooden box at a garage sale many months ago but didnt quite know what to do with it until the concept of a 2 string bass guitar popped into my brain, its been tumbling around in there for a long time trying to find a form and I think I've kind of got it figured out. There are a lot of details to finalise yet but I have made a neck and shaped a headstock so lets see what happens next .....

06.01.2022 This week I have gone back to basics and created a simple little 3 string fretless CBG without any fancy decoration. Its just a wooden box and a Tasmanian hardwood neck that I have built up here in my workshop. I have slipped a single Piezo pickup under the bridge if you wanted to plug into an amp and make some real noise but quite honestly it sounds pretty sweet just as it is. A cool little instrument that's easy to play with a bottle neck slide. Its currently up for sale for $250 or, if you would like something a little more personalized, I can build something to your own specs.

03.01.2022 The problem with actual glass slides is just when you feel like you're really rockin' out, a momentary lapse of reason and bang, you drop it on the floor and it won't slide no more.....
