24.01.2022 Cherax went around the racetrack for the last time today. She was purchased early in her years after sustaining a serious leg injury. Since then she has given us lots of fun and joy (2 wins, 4 seconds and 4 thirds). Cherax is such a sweetheart that tried her hardest every time she went to the races, up until recently where her body had well and truly had enough and she was more interested in eating the grass on the way to the barriers than racing. She can now go and eat ...all the grass she desires. Thanks for all the Jockies that rode Cherax over the years- Chelsea and Mikaela both sharing wins. Cherax will now go to her owners farm for her retirement and will become a broodmare in the future. Her beautiful nature has made her a friend for life and I thank her for being so gentle with the girls and also for allowing me (Lisa) to gain my confidence around horses. #cherax See more

22.01.2022 Synthetic wasn’t the go for Beejay’s Hero either. He was slow out the gates today and didn’t play a part. Congratulations to Noel Richards on the Win with Niamh Chinn Oir. Jamie rides track work for Noel. Great ride Christine.

22.01.2022 Farewell Chat to Maggie (Gypsy)! Gypsy has been in the stables for 7+ years. A courageous and strong mare that ran her hardest every time. She was a Terang track specialist and ran some phenomenal races at home ... winning the Westmeath. She also placed 2nd twice in town before sadly injuring her leg and never came back as strong. Thanks to Chelsea Hall for bringing out the best in her! ... She will always be one of our stable stars Enjoy your retirement girl. See more

18.01.2022 One Year On! September marked a year since Jamie commenced his dream of becoming a racehorse trainer, in his own right. In this time he has had 2 winners, 6 seconds and 18 thirds. 123 It’s been a rewarding and challenging year with COVID 19 restrictions. Jamie would like to thank his loyal owners and those who have encouraged and supported him in his endeavours. Thanks to all that have helped out and continue to do so. We will be forever grateful ... 18.01.2022 The girls ventured to Warracknabeal today. After having a month off, Centaines portrait ran a good 6th (2.1 lengths) Cherax was going around for her last start.

14.01.2022 Penshurst cup day with 4 horses Red Dazine- was having his first start and led, however tired late. Dynamic Blue- was resuming from a spell and ran home well to finish 5th, nearly grabbing third. In the Sun- was tough as nails and took home the Win! Back to back now ... Bloomin Crafty- over raced, was wide and back in the field and tired late to run 4th. Thanks to the team of strappers that helped Jamie today

06.01.2022 Races were transferred from the turf to the synthetic. With lots of scratchings, we decided to take the gamble and run with 4 horses anyway!... Gamble didn’t pay off! But you have to try it to see if they like it. Beejay’s Hero will be trying it out on Tuesday.

05.01.2022 The newest addition to our stables ran in race 2 at Hamilton today. He did really well, improving a lot from his last start. 1.9 lengths 5th- Bloomin’ Crafty.

04.01.2022 New additions to the stables. Young Henry and Viper. Sunny is also back in work. Solitary choice and Dynamic Blue have gone for a spell. Chat to Maggie has been retired. Don’t matter has returned home to continue to recover from his knee surgery. He’s doing really well.

After getting back, Beejay’s Hero ran a massive race late to squeeze in a place It was pleasing to see him running his honest race again back on the turf. Centaine’s Portrait ran a good race considering she was up to 2000m, she just lacked a bit of fitness late in the race with the big jump in distance. ...
