25.01.2022 A3 on black paper. Prismacolor pencils. "Pre-dinner nibbles" Well perhaps I share...maybe.

25.01.2022 Acrylic on canvas 91cm x 122cm "Memories of Israel" (Based on a painting by Israeli artist Az El Hai). I found Israeli women had something a little different about them. Not being able to identify this characteristic, I was at a loss when working out how to show this difference in a painting. This is what I came up with and it depicts a woman with a rather elongated neck, not realistic I assure you however it does serve to suggest this is no ordinary woman.... The sheets of paper in the background represent the Jerusalem stone of the walls of the old city and the added items are symbols of Israel and Judaism.

17.01.2022 76cm x 122cm Acrylic on canvas "Peeking through the veil" This represents all the "stuff" that confuses and complicates our lives, while Big Brother(s) watch over us. At the bottom right we see, peeking through a hole in this veil, our real world floats among the stars.

17.01.2022 "April" Pencil on grey paper, A3. One-year-old April, a lovely addition to the Torok family.

16.01.2022 A3 Colour Pencil on paper "Fruit" Well the name says it all really, its a bunch of fruit. Saw an opportunity to brush up on my pencil skills and got a reasonable result; not perfect by any stretch but not too terrible.

08.01.2022 Acrylic on canvas 76cm x 92cm "Equals" (With humble apologies to: Ingres - Renoir - Tiziano - Caravagio - Lefebvre and Rodin.) ... Some people are famous and others not, some are brown while some are white, some are yellow and others black. Some short, some tall, some male and some female. But when we come down to the naked truth, WE ARE ALL EQUAL"!
