25.01.2022 Few jobs I have had on the go these past few month up at Emerald and surrounds.

24.01.2022 Quick few days spent helping a customer get one of 3 pickers ready to go on the boat to China. With a few dead bars getting fixed, some lift rams getting new seal kits and even a new hydraulic pump. Now to check a few pickers over before starting the late cotton this week with another customer.

24.01.2022 It is that time of year again where I say farewell to my family and friends for a month or two and head north to start pre season work on the cotton pickers and then help out a few farmers with them running in the paddock when they start up. All loaded up ready for Emerald.

24.01.2022 I would like to thank all my customers and Gibson Field Service for a great 2019. We would all agree, we hope 2020 brings the big rains and a good season for all. I hope to see you all new the New Year.

23.01.2022 All loaded up ready to be south bound in the morning for a month or two, had to pack two gear bags cause not a big fan of the cold.

21.01.2022 Well that is the cotton all done for another season all machines cleaned and put away. Back home for a bit now and straight into over hauling some track frames and get them ready to go out on site.

20.01.2022 Few little jobs I had last week for a customer to get some gear ready for a few contracts and put together a Pro-Till.

19.01.2022 Has been a busy few months helping a customer get some drill rigs ready for new contracts and component overhauls for the boys on site to keep the rigs running and even a fit of fabrication going on as well.

19.01.2022 Here is a video of lancing the pin out of one of the track frames. Sure makes it a lot easier using the lance to get the pins out.

15.01.2022 It is a sight for sore eyes but still a long way away to be a drought breaker but I hope all this rain is reaching everyone. Hope everyone is enjoying the wet weather.

11.01.2022 All loaded ready to head up north to site. This week I had to overhaul two sets of tracks and get the Manitou serviced and repairs done on it. Thanks to the brother and Dan for coming down and giving us a hand this week to meet the dead line and getting this all done.

08.01.2022 Few jobs out the door this week before Easter. Ute service and check over before this tidy 2001 model cruiser goes up for sale and a new fuel pump fitted to a 8130 that was playing up on a customer causing fuel dramas.

05.01.2022 Well 2020 cotton pick in NSW wasn’t as big this year unfortunately for everyone but I got the chance to go down with a customer this year and drive and fix his gear. Which worked out well cause I had a few other break downs to do and also and got to do a bit of cotton mulching for another contractor on a few quite day’s. Hopefully 2021 brings a big year down there for all the growers. Home now for a few days before heading back up to Emerald to help another customer with his late cotton and get some harvesters ready as well.

03.01.2022 At Bartley’s Diesel Contracting some days I like to take my pets to work with me in this case it was 6 little piglets riding shotgun with me in the cotton picker today.
