16.01.2022 IT TAKES A VILLAGE! Bartons were proud and privileged to attend the big reveal today for The Village CO. donation drive arranged by Jodie and Soda from Mix102.3. These legends have been running a drive with Romeo's Retail Group stores to collect products to fill The Village CO. bags, which are dispersed within South Australian hospitals for women in need. They aimed to fill 250 bags, however at this morning’s event it was revealed that the goods generously donated will fil...l a huge 500 bags (Over 3 tonnes worth of goods)!! 14.01.2022 Wellbeing is our priority. Effective immediately, we are implementing several precautionary measures to ensure we stay as safe as possible and reduce the risk of contracting or transmitting the virus throughout our workplace. Client meetings.... Whilst we are not prohibiting face to face meetings, we are suggesting these be minimised, and we are offering either phone or Skype/Zoom meetings for those comfortable for these alternatives. Otherwise, we are happy to postpone non-essential meetings until a mutually satisfactory time. Protecting our team members. We are instigating a pilot work from home program for our team that ensure we are achieving a degree of isolation, whilst keeping the office functioning effectively. Our team members have been advised upon, and are practising, safe personal hygiene and self-isolation (where necessary) protocols. Our IT team has been working to ensure all team members can effectively work from home. Accordingly, in the event we move to a mandated office closure, we will still be able to meet your needs. We are in awe of the amazing work that Steph is doing; bringing people together to show love and kindness to families who need it the most. The Village Co supports SA Women who give birth and don’t have essential personal hygiene items for themselves or their baby. This donation is from the proceeds of our clients Future Generation Investment holdings for 2019, which will help Steph to expand ...and help more SA Women, particularly in rural areas. 03.01.2022 It is with great pleasure we announce that we are donating a HUGE $66,068 to three very deserving charities The Village CO. Hutt St Centre Childhood Cancer Association... The donation will be split equally between our 3 partner charities and we are already working with the respective teams on how this will make a difference after such an incredibly difficult year. This donation is generated via our Future Generations Investment Company (FGX) investors, managed by our Financial Services team. Forgoing any management fees, one percent of FGX assets are invested in charities each year FGX focus on charities that support children and youth at risk, and youth mental health.
