14.01.2022 Today - September 22 - is World CML Day but do you know why? The date 22/9 is symbolic because a genetic change in chromosomes 22 and 9 are the cause of CML. To mark this special awareness day we have just opened a members-only Facebook group for everyone impacted by chronic myeloid leukaemia, allowing patients, carers and family members to share their experiences. Well also provide helpful information and research news. Tap to join this closed group today and start sharing your CML journey with others.

14.01.2022 Today marks the 15th anniversary of the Leukaemia Foundation Courtesy Transport Service. It was on this day 15 years ago, the distinctive vehicles were launched at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Melbourne. The program commenced as a result of a generous sponsorship from Bridgestone Tyre Centres, Holden and the Peter Brock Foundation. It is thanks to this wonderful partnership, as well as the dedicated team of volunteer drivers that the Foundation is able to provide this valuable service to those affected by blood cancer. The service aims to reduce the burden of those who may have limited transport options and ensure they arrive for treatments and appointments safely and on time.
