21.01.2022 R E L A X How long will my anti-wrinkle injections last? For most clients, the effects of anti-wrinkle injections last for around 12 weeks. Full muscle relaxation happens around the 2-4 week mark, with its peak around 6 weeks, after which time the natural muscle activity starts to slowly return over the following 5-6 weeks. Its important to note that the longevity of anti-wrinkle injections will be different for everybody! There are a number of factor...s to consider including the location of the injection, the depth of the wrinkles, age and elasticity of the skin, muscle strength, sun exposure, smoking, exercise, the list goes on! Typically we treat foreheads with lighter doses so we dont create that frozen look, or cause too much heaviness. Often the forehead results may not last as long as other areas of the face. We will always suggest the appropriate dose to give you the most natural results after a full facial assessment and consultation. 09.01.2022 L I P S What should I expect after having my lip filler treatment? The lips are a vascular area, so most patients can expect some moderate downtime following their lip filler treatment. Immediately after the treatment lips will appear swollen and red and this will increase over the next 24 hours. Day 2-3 is probably the worst in terms of swelling and bruising (you will hate me!) especially in the morning following your treatment due to build up of fluid... overnight. Rest assured this will settle over the next 3-7 days, however the majority of swelling should be gone 72 hours post treatment. Its important to note that sensitive people may have residual swelling for up to two weeks after their lip filler treatment. Lips may feel firm for up to two weeks, however once swelling has settled they will feel natural and soft.
