23.01.2022 We are staying open and riding this corona wave! So much gratitude for our loyal customers who continue to come in for their coffee and lunch. Without you we would struggle to stay open. Cheers to the customer yesterday who left a twenty dollar note on the counter but didn’t buy anything, saying thank you for being open and he’ll be back in the morning for a coffee. Enjoy Boris’ humour and upbeat attitude. I am so proud of him (Maria)

22.01.2022 We are closing early today as we have a wedding on from 1 pm! Martha and Roberto were due to celebrate their marriage at a local Adelaide Hills winery, but due to the fires and extreme weather conditions this was not possible. So we were thrilled to be able to support this lovely couple. Our apologies to our regular customers but we know you’ll understand.

Our daily lives have changed significantly but our coffee, food and service has not!... We want to ensure your health and safety so extra precautions are being taken. These include: Sterilisation of surfaces, tables and chairs, door handles and EFTPOS. Increased safe food handling practices and regular hand washing We have locked our toilets to limit public use. We are absolutely exhausted after getting smashed for four days straight and feeling slightly overwhelmed with all of the support throughout these trying times! We literally ran out of things to sell by the end of today. It was mayhem. We cannot thank you enough ... Lastly, we hope you all enjoyed listening to Paul Kelly A-Z ‘Live’ Recordings when you picked up your coffees today. We certainly did! Stay safe guys! 02.01.2022 Update: Basecamp Cafe will continue to remain open for take aways only, we are still making fresh food daily and of course coffees, juices and smoothies. We ask that you practice spatial separation whilst in the cafe too please. You can also ring ahead to place your order. We encourage use of Eftpos where possible. Please stay well and healthy ...
