17.01.2022 Comedy at Currumbin RSL 7:30pm Thursday 4 February Joining us from Mullumbimby, she's one of the fastest & funniest in the country, Women Like Us's Ellen Briggs (Hughesy, We Have a Problem) headlines this week at Currumbin RSL! Kiwi crusher Aaron Pratt Comedy hosts a brilliant line up of comedic talent. Seats are limited and we fill up fast - book ahead from currumbinrsl.com.au.... Ellen Briggs is one of the sharpest comedians working. Outrageously funny, Ellen puts into words what most can't and what even more wouldn't dare - her stories and observations are always entertaining and always on point. She's been seen on ‘Hughesy, We Have a Problem’, heard on Gold FM, and bagged first prize on Foxtel's 'Be a Comedian', earning her a spot on Stand Up Australia, she was a national finalist in the 2007 MICF Raw Competition. She's performed with some of the country's best acts, Bob Downe, Mick Meredith, Will Anderson, Peter Hellier, Charlie Pickering, Fiona O'Loughlin, Kinne, Sean Chulburra, Gina Yashire, Puppetry of the Penis, Jimbo, Mandy Nolan, Brad Oakes, Julia Wilson, Greg Sullivan, and Claire Hooper. Aaron started performing stand up comedy at the ripe age of 32 in late 2012. His unique style of humour was forged in the fiery pits of South Auckland (think Mordor from 'Lord Of The Rings'). This 6'2 180kg Polynesian / New Zealand powerhouse will bring down the house, the structural support beams and any other aspect of the establishment not rated for his big laughs or excess body mass. More recently in 2017, Aaron has opened for Fiona O'Loughlin, Heath Franklin's 'Chopper' and Kevin Tate (America). After being invited to perform at the 2017 Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) 'Clean Comedy Gala', Aaron received rave reviews & took his first hour show ‘Pratt Fall’ to MICF 2018. Get in, 7:30pm Thursdays at Currumbin RSL, with the best comics from around Australia.

Normally you'd only get to see these two together in a hospital - they'd be in there for different reasons - but we're bringing the fun straight to you.... "Born and raised in Manchester, England; now a proud Australian, Georgie Carroll is a Comedian, Nurse, Wife and Mother. This combination of Nationalities, home life and hospital has provided a 24/7 training ground that has nurtured Georgie's naturally funny bones. Her bluntness and charm, coupled with razor-sharp wit, give her a broad-spectrum appeal that can be put into any room and shine. As seen on The Project, Have You Been Paying Attention?, Hughesy We Have a Problem, Talkin' Bout your Generation and Celebrity Name Game. A riot that had the audience rolling in the aisles. She is one comedian I will definitely be seeing again and again... and again! - Clothesline". Featured on Netflix, Stan, Vice, Comedy Central Australia, ABC, plus music videos by Skegss and Last Dinosaurs, Aaron Gocs is a sensation on screens, online and on stage.
