22.01.2022 The scammers are active - these disgusting humans take advantage of any major issue. BE ALERT - Dont click on links you receive via text message or email, esp...ecially if theyre around the coronavirus. Phishing scams using COVID-19-themed text messages are already circulating in Australia. One such purports to be a Government message - Do not click on such messages (information sourced ABCNew Australia) This particular scam appears to be sent from "GOV" and shares a link that claims to help people find out where they can get tested for coronavirus. The link and the sender are fake. Clicking on the link could install malware designed to steal your banking details. Make sure you let your friends and family know about these scams, particular older and more vulnerable people.
