20.01.2022 Want to have quick look through the warehouse? We often have customers , on limited time , who want to have a quick look around. Well the team have done it. 8,000 square metres, or just on 2 acres in the old scale , all under one roof.... We open the warehouse at 6.00 am and the second shift finishs just after midnight, Saturdays too when its busy. Just under 10,000 skus and a fully integrated smart warehouse that has each warehouse operator a mobile scanner, that send them to exactly the correct location , to find the goods and for roll stock the actual correct batch also. This ensure colour matching for when you need a little bit more! We are not perfect, although we do try, the smart warehouse allows for less mistakes , the scanner will not let you pick the goods unless it has the correct bar code and most importantly the faster turn around of orders. This is all done in real time, meaning the minute they pick the stock, it is no longer viewable online for our more than 2000 customers when they are using our online ordering... 11.01.2022 Bliss Velvet is this weeks product of the week, available in 22 fabulous colours, it has a number of very unique features. Our textile technologists had this woven, not knitted, so it does not curl in on the edges and drapes beautifully , in all heading styles. Most velvets, have a direction meaning they need to be hung either pile up or pile down, as it may effect the colour and potentially other headaches. The yarn we used in Bliss was specifically designed to be... bruise free and not have a direction, it looks the same in either direction. It really looks amazing in a big piece. It is also suitable for upholstery, achieving a whopping 40,000 rubs as seen here in our Auckland Showroom in Parnell, coordinated with our latest print design Adorn, in colour Indigo.
