He is based out of the Gold Coast in QLD and has been in the pest industry for over 10 years as a National Operations Manager and sub-contractor before beginning his current position at BASF. Leigh is an expert in high-dependency commercial pest control sites and post-construction termite management. We asked him a couple of questions about working in the pest control industry...... What do you love about working in pest control? Constant problem solving. Every site is different and I enjoy working with our customers to create effective treatment plans. What do you think pest control will look like in the future? The Australian pest control industry will continue getting access to new technology, like we did with Seclira & Trelona ATBS. It’s exciting, especially following a long period of actives being recycled over and over again.

We asked him a couple of questions about working in the pest control industry...... What do you love about working in pest control? Like many people I had never considered pest management as a career choice but having the opportunity every day to learn new skills and knowledge from an industry with such a diverse range of services and products has been a fantastic experience for me over the last 10 years. What do you think pest control will look like in the future? I believe in the future of pest control we will see a wider use of remote monitoring technology and more of a focus on an integrated pest management approach to inspection, non-chemical controls and a targeted use of insecticides and rodenticides.

07.01.2022 Tracy and the team from Hibbett's Pest Control Pty Ltd, including son Liam, have been using the Termidor range since its launch in 2002. Since then, they have transitioned to the more advanced HE formulation. We made sure we got onboard with Termidor HE pretty much straight away, Tracy says.
