21.01.2022 What a day to do our pilates-style Triple R session outside! It’s more of a slo-mo class than you see here, with flexibility, deep core strengthening, correcting weaknesses and self massage to rehabilitate, restore and release (Triple R) muscles and posture. 19.01.2022 How it feels to end the week on a fitness high Awesome effort by everyone this week in our fitness, kids and Pilates-based sessions. [Yep, BAS kids sessions are now a thing - Tuesdays 3.45pm, age 6-12]. Extra kudos goes to those who tackled the quadrathlon (row, ski erg, air bike, run) on Saturday morning like Jaclyn Byrne who felt so fly after that she wanted to capture that feeling in this great shot.

I'm excited to be teaming up with Olivia McFadyen from Naturopathy with Olivia who will be working with BAS members on all things health, lifestyle and food. I love her down to earth approach to eating for health, her real life understanding that busyness can sometimes stop us from eating well and that she's a local small business. 14.01.2022 Row-ski-bike-run = BAS style quadrathlon this morning. Some were a bit doubtful they could make it but you can always do more than you let yourself think. An awesome way to start the weekend!

11.01.2022 I’m am happy to announce a new teen session starting this Wednesday at 5pm to 5.45pm for 12-16 year olds. In the session we’ll focus on improving coordination and skills, improving body awareness, learning new movements, increasing flexibility and fitness/strength using age appropriate methods. They’ll be grouped into similar ages, genders and abilities. I have worked as the Strength and Conditioning Coach at the Rabbitohs and Panthers U/16s and ... U/18s and Norths Rugby colts for several years so am well versed at working with teens. Price $110 for the ten week term for members $130 for the ten week term for non members. 09.01.2022 Nutrition planning for my members is in the works! Today Olivia from Naturopathy with Olivia and I nutted out how it’s all going to work. There’ll be online + in-person elements so however you like to learn, you’ll be able to soak up all the goodness Olivia has to offer and *really* start to make some nutrition changes, whether you’re aiming for better health or optimum training performance. We’re launching this in February 2021 as part of your BAS membership.It’ll seriously help you make the changes you’ve just never been able to manage on your own. Some pre-launch freebies are on the way so BASinators can get a head start on healthier eating.

05.01.2022 Hello, new timetable! It launched this week with extra sessions added in the early mornings, lunchtime and early evenings PLUS new Triple R pilates-based sessions. More choice and more opportunities to train while you're WFH. PM me if you'd like a copy of the new timetable.

03.01.2022 This weekend a handful of us competed in the SkiErg World Sprints, skiing 1km in a virtual comp across the globe. The youngest of our crew who did it is 13 and the oldest is in her 60s, proving that it doesn’t matter your age, fitness or where you’re at, it’s fun to give it a crack. Congrats to all those who joined in, with several PBs smashed and a special mention to Mr Steve Ralph who slaughtered over 4mins off his time from 2019 and Kath Green who still gave it her best (in training and race day) despite living with severe chronic pain https://log.concept2.com/challenges/skierg-sprints

01.01.2022 Hard? Your choice. Impossible? No. In BAS sessions, everyone works to their capability. I always make adjustments to adapt each movement to your fitness, injuries or limitations. You’ll learn how to do fundamental movements before progressing to more advanced ones if that’s what you want. As your body strengthens/coordination improves, you can progress. ... We work together in a group, but you do each movement at a level that’s right for you. I work with people who have never exercised, returning to exercise or are already fit and love the challenge I give them. There’s no comparison or competition. Just camaraderie, conditioning, coaching and classic laughs. The only thing that holds you back is your mindset.
