25.01.2022 Well what a huge weekend of racing it was for the 2019 Motorworks/Bridgestone 2 Hour. As per usual, the 2 hour threw up plenty of surprises and challenges to provide a fascinating race, but in the end it was Kurt Sushames and Kyle Buckley who put in another faultless performance to emerge as victors in the Superbike class making it back to back wins. Brad Hughes who was riding solo put in one of the rides of his career to take second place, and a very deserving third place we...nt to Scott Honeychurch and Damian Faulds who finished the race minus one footpeg. In the 600 class, Jason Spencer and Scott Campbell showed their class and put in an impeccable performance to take the win. Ted Collins and Hamish Sellers claimed an impressive second place after a hectic weekend of mechanical issues and bike changes, and an outstanding third place went to Josh Rees and Matt Carey. The Lites 20 lapper provided one of the highlights of the weekend with Joel Kelso and Liam Water trading blows at the front for the entire 20 laps. It was still anyone’s race as they started the last lap, but it was Liam Waters who managed to maintain a slight margin and lead to the finish line and take the win, and in doing so set the fastest lap of the race and a new class record of 56.113. Taran Ocean also put in a great performance to pick up the final podium position. In the production class, Joel Benson took the honours from Darren Trotter and Chloe Honeychurch. And let’s not forget the handicap feature race where an ecstatic Carla Munday took her first ever race win from Chris Eaton and Karen Webb. Congratulation to all competitors for putting on some outstanding racing. And of course, a massive thank you goes out to our amazing sponsors Motorworks Motorcycles and Bridgestone tyres.

23.01.2022 Who could forgot the amazing battle at the front of the 2019 Lites 20 lap feature race between Liam Waters and Joel Kelso Racing. The two traded blows for the entire 20 laps and had everyone on the edge of their seats. Well the great news is that Liam Waters is back again this year! Will he break the lap record? Not long to wait now to find out Photo Credit: James O'Hagan Photography

22.01.2022 WELCOME MICHELIN! The SRCT are delighted to announce that Michelin have come on board as a major sponsor for the 2020 Baskerville 2 hour along with long time sponsor Motorworks. We all know how valuable sponsorship is in being able to hold events such as the 2-hour, so please pass on your thanks and appreciation to Larry Eaton from Motorworks and Grant Tomlinson from Michelin when you see them. And thanks Bridgestone! Unfortunately due to the impact of Covid-19, Bridgestone are not in a position to be involved this year. We would like to say a massive thank you to Rod Garrett and Craig White for their support over many years.

19.01.2022 How good was this moment when Carla Munday took out the Handicap Feature race at the 2019 2 Hour! We don’t see many handicap races in Tas, but they are certainly fun and gives everyone a chance to stand on the podium and take home a trophy. Entries have been extended to 24 Nov so there’s still time to be part of the fun

04.01.2022 2 HR ENTRY DATE EXTENDED TO 24 NOV Hi all, it seems a few people were caught out by the entry close date for the 2 hour meeting so we have extended it until 24-11-20. If you missed the cut off, contact Martin Long and he will get your entry in without you having to pay a late fee

04.01.2022 They say one man’s loss is another man’s gain, and it’s certainly true in this case. Jamie Needham who had been teamed with the newly crowned 2019 ASBK Superbike Champion Mike Jones Racing - Mad Mike for the Motorworks/Bridgestone 2 Hour will unfortunately miss the event through injury, but Jason Wyllie Racing has seized the opportunity to secure one of the country’s best to partner him in the event him on a brand new Ducati Panigale V4. How good is this going to be!!

03.01.2022 Well done guys, great effort !

02.01.2022 What a team, look forward to seeing you here John!

01.01.2022 Great interview with Jason Wyllie who will be teamed with Mike Jones for the 2 hour. Best of luck guys!
