03.01.2022 Last week concluded our term 3 rising stars competition. The competition consisted of so many amazing moments from all participants, coaches and everyone else involved.. Term 3 finished off with a very tight fought grand final between hotsteppers and total stars. The match was a very tight contest played. With amazing sportsmanship, but also with a competitive environment shown by both teams. The game went down to the wire, with total stars winning 30-20 against the hotstep...pers. This term Rising Star went to Jason Stokes from Palmerston college. Jason showed us what sport is about. By competing hard every game, but also playing with in the spirit of the game each week. A very humble young boy with a heart of gold. Basketball NT would like to thank its staff who helped make this competition run each week and SEDA college for their assistance in both refereeing and scoring each week. Without this amazing Help rising stars wouldn’t be the awesome competition it is for athletes, schools and coaches every week. So thank you.
