COVID Requirements for Return to Basketball With the return to basketball after the COVID break, there will be a few changes at each stadium. These include:... Limit of 1 spectator per person into each venue (where practical) Social distancing is required to be observed by all spectators at all times. Keep 1.5m apart please. Balls and tablets will be wiped down between each game We ask that players observe the Get in, Play and Get out philosophy to minimise the amount of people at the stadium As an association, we ask for your support in following these simple guidelines to ensure that we can continue to have spectators at our venues. 15.01.2022 A message to our Blitz community dated 22/03/2020. Well what a week it has been for everyone. It is shocking to look back just seven days and see what has changed in that short space of time for us all in Australia and indeed the world. We here at Blitz sincerely hope you and your families are all well and are settling into a routine that will help us all to slow this virus down and keep us all safe. Social distancing means we cannot train or play games for the foreseeable fu...ture but that doesnt mean you cant play 1on1 or 2on2 with your own family in your yard to keep your hand in and stay fit and strong. You can also work with some of the great apps available for training and ball skills or watch re-runs of the great games in the NBL and NBA to keep up the interest. We will continue to update you as time goes on and as things change we will of course communicate to you all. The decision has been taken to POSTPONE ALL TRAININGS & GAMES from Monday 16th to Sunday 22nd March due to the ongoing situation in relation to the COVID-19 virus spread.
