23.01.2022 For some athletes, lockdown has been a time to take a break from their regular training load, they may have lightened the load, tried something else or simply done not much (and we don't blame you). Returning to sport with little to no time to ease back into it load wise, can mean much fatigue, soreness and often, regrettably, injuries. Make sure your child (or you) are taking the time to warm up thoroughly before each session, prioritise recovery, recognise you won't be at the same level as where you left off pre shutdown of sport, ease into it where you can and see a professional if you get injured, or think you might be, don't try to push through it. The long game is the goal!

18.01.2022 FIBA3x3 are hosting the first ever 3x3 AmeriCup November 12-14th in Miami, Florida. Watch it live via their YouTube channel. It should make for awesome viewing given how highly ranked some of the players are including Kareem Maddox, who won the last edition of the FIBA 3x3 World Cup back in 2019. Plus it's in Miami!

13.01.2022 Open shoot around! In anticipation of any announcement by the Premier this Sunday, Basketball X has made the decision to postpone Rd 1 for a week. Registrations will now close on November 27th and competition commences Monday November 30.... Basketball X invite all players to visit the venue for a shoot around and view the facility between 6.00pm and 9.00pm Monday to Friday (numbers limited). Bar open on Monday and Wednesday so why not make it a social evening. If you haven’t registered come and see the facility, ask any questions and register on the night.
