24.01.2022 CONTAINERS FOR CHANGE UPDATE Thanks to all our members who donated their containers and supported the bar/canteen over the last month. We had our first bin collection (1 months worth) this week and had 1615 eligible containers! That’s $161.50 straight back to the club!! ... Shout out to Joe at Collier Road Metal Recycling for all their help. Not only do they provide us with the bin and pick it up for FREE, they also give us the full 10c refund. If you have containers to donate you can drop them at Collier Road Metal Recycling (closest drop of point to club) or at the club on Friday nights. Our scheme ID is C10284996

18.01.2022 Hello to all and on behalf of the Callies, let me first wish you all a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2021. I am messaging today to let you all know that our first club rego information day will be held Sunday the 17th of January at the Club from 10 am till 1pm. This will be an opportunity for existing players that still have not replied to my email advising of their return to come down and talk and ask questions about their return. The existing spots if not confirmed may be o...ffered to new players after this date. New Expressions of Interest to come and see the history of the Callies and meet some of the club members and coaches. ALL can get information on how to register online, bank details, size up some of the kit that will be supplied once registration is approved. There are a few changes that will be required before registrations of players are approved this year and this info day could be a good opportunity for you to come an enquire or supply the information detailed below. 2021 CHANGES PROOF OF AGE OF PLAYER - ALL PLAYERS WILL NEED SUPPLY AND HAVE SIGHTED BY A COMMITTEE MEMBER PROOF OF AGE FOR PLAYER(S) Proof of age can be provided as one of the following documents: - Birth Certificate, student travel card, passport or driving license VOLUNTEER LEVY - The Callies is a volunteer run club, as a requirement for the 2021 season the club has now put in place a volunteer policy that will require all families to volunteer up to 4 hours (per family) of their time over the season to assist the club. These roles will include canteen duties and game day shifts. A volunteer levy of $100 will apply if families do not wish to assist. Detailed information can be provided at this info day and will be also during preseason. Also, the registration system is nearly ready to go and the sibling discount will be available online to avoid parents having to pay "offline" at one of our payment nights. the reduction of $75.00 club family membership fee will be removed from the next sibling registered after the first one. 11.01.2022 Hello Members and Friends Just a quick update on the new changes coming into play as of this Saturday the 5th of December! Anybody including volunteers visiting the cub from 5th December will have to scan or sign into the contact register. This includes the bar, using the change rooms for training,canteen and meetings. ... There will be a QR code system in place and we would recommend downloading the SafeWA App to make our lives and your lives a bit easier! It is now mandatory for every venue in WA to have a contact registry! There will be posters with the QR code as you enter the club and in the change rooms. We will also have a manual register for you to sign into if you do not have a smart phone. Thank you in advance for making our lives easier The callies

10.01.2022 We have already started with a few renovations at the club with the painting of the floor and walls in the change rooms earlier in the year and new signs around... the club. We have lots more work we would love to do in the off season and are asking for your support to help us give the club a makeover. 06.01.2022 The Callies are keen to set up a Boot exchange where players can exchange sizes or buy cheap football boots that are still in good condition. BUT we need some donations to get the ball rolling!! Parents/Players if you have a set of clean Soccer Boots with no rips or tears, Laces and studs in good condition and would like to donate to the club so that other new and existing players can continue to enjoy the game without to much expenditure each season, Please let us know. ...
