Men’s Singles & Ladies Doubles = Sat 6th April and Sun 7th April (AM & PM) entries close Wednesday 3 April @ 5pm... Men’s Doubles, Ladies Singles & Mixed Doubles = Sat 13th April and Sun 14th April (AM & PM) entries close Wednesday 10 April @ 5pm You'll soon receive an email containing the entry form. 15.01.2022 Hi Members Due to the restrictions imposed by the Federal Government in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Club Championships will not proceed. Competition and social tennis have also been cancelled. For the time being, court bookings are still being accepted, but under some additional guidelines. ... The Bassendean Lawn Bowls Club has closed their main gate, the same gate which gives you access to the tennis court carpark. As a temporary measure, you can access the tennis courts via the gate on the footpath near the Montessori School. There are car spaces available on Hamilton Street. This gate is padlocked and a code can be provided upon request. After entering, access the main security gate by entering the unique pin provided when booking a court online. Please ensure the padlock is reapplied to the side gate when you leave. Anybody who has booked a court in the past 4 months was contacted via email last night with additional information. If visiting the club, please ensure you: - Only attend if you are well, not experiencing flu-like symptoms and have not been in contact with someone diagnosed positive - Limit bookings to a maximum of 4 people - Avoid shaking hands - Wash/sterilise hands regularly - Don't share water bottles - Are mindful of high-touch surfaces We understand this is a difficult time for everyone in our community and appreciate you doing your part to stop the spread of the virus. 13.01.2022 Hi all A few important announcements: 1. Social Tennis - Now on Friday evenings... Our usual Saturday social tennis is moving to a new time of 6pm on Fridays as of December 6th. Friday social will continue through the summer months as we try to beat the heat. We hope to see you there! 2. Club shirts Club shirts (with our new logo) are now available for purchase. Shirts are $30 each and come in various sizes. Orders are due by next Tuesday December 3rd and can be placed through the club website (https://www.bassendeantennisclub.com.au/club-shirt-orders). 12.01.2022 Hi everyone Unfortunately we are cancelling our Christmas Tournament this Saturday 14th December due to the expected hot weather. We'll aim to organise a tournament at some point in January, perhaps the long weekend, so watch this space for more details. In the meantime Friday night social tennis is back on this Friday 13th December and will continue until the end of February 2020.... Have a happy and peaceful holiday and we look forward to enjoying lots more tennis in 2020!

10.01.2022 Due to the WA State Government’s COVID-19 announcement this evening and associated four day lockdown restrictions, we’ve closed our courts initially until Saturday 3 July. We'll keep you updated of our reopening as we know more. Stay safe and get tested if feeling unwell.

Perth's own four piece Chicago style blues band, The Doodaddies will be playing on our grass courts Tickets are still able to be purchased for $10 via https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing?eid=721590&... Open to everyone and anyone! Gates open at 5.00 pm with The Doodaddies performing between 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm with the night set to conclude at 9.00 pm. It is a 'bring your own everything' event; food, drink, picnic chairs, rugs and dancing shoes! There will be a raffle on the night so bring some cash too.
