17.01.2022 Hi Year 7-10, The Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) is a community based and aviation focused youth development organisation that operates within a military-like framework sponsored and administered by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). The AAFC focuses on developing qualities such as initiative, self-confidence, teamwork, communication and leadership skills with a military focus whilst instilling knowledge in aviation, fieldcraft, survival and drill. The AAFC is run pr...edominately by Volunteers to train young Australians in High School whilst emphasising civic values and service to the community in a structured aviation environment. They’re involved in community activities such as ANZAC Day Services and Remembrance Day. This email is to advise you that 307 Squadron (based at the Lidcombe Multi User Depot) is now looking for new Recruits between the ages of 13 and 16.
