As of 11.59pm last night 13 September stage 4 restrictions changed: The curfew will be eased to 9pm to 5am (the only reasons to leave home during curfew hours are for permitted work, essential health, care or safety reasons) Restrictions on public gatherings have increased to two people or a household can meet outdoors for two hours maximum If you live alone or are a single parent with all your children under 18 you will be able to have one nominated visitor... to your home (single social bubble) Outdoor playgrounds are open and picnic tables and park benches can be used. What has not changed? There are still only four reasons to leave home during curfew hours: permitted work, care and care giving, outdoor activities and shopping for groceries and essential items We must continue to stay within 5km of our homes (unless you have to travel further than 5km for one of the four reasons mentioned above) Kindergartens, family day care and child care centres continue to be open for permitted workers only.
