01.01.2022 This coming Monday night (27 July, 6:00pm) we’re meeting at the Geraldton City RSL with guest speaker in Dr Ian Taylor discussing the popular subject of "COVID -19" - which may be with us for a while until a vaccine is created, so get the facts from a local professional, with a local perspective whilst enjoying dinner served by Dalgleish Catering ( Contact a member or PM us if you would like to join - all welcome!)
01.01.2022 What's coming up on Monday? Just a nice casual dinner supporting a local restaurant - The Murchison Tavern Remember to register! Have a wonderful weekend everyone https://rotarybataviacoast.org.au/e/tbc-meeting-31-08-2020/
01.01.2022 Twelve months ago we ran the 2019 Wild West Bike Tour. In March 2020 Covid-19 hit the world, WWBT, like many other cycling and fundraising events, canceled the 2020 event. Recently a $8,500 cheque was handed over to WA Police Legacy from the fundraising of the 2019 event. President Mick Powell (2nd Left) of the Rotary Club of Batavia Coast is seen here presenting a cheque to Superintendent Roger Beer (far Right). They are assisted by a couple of the organisers of the WWBT Nathan Johansen and Tom Thuijs. Thank you to the riders and the sponsors for this great result.
01.01.2022 Last week Monday our guest speaker linked in via Zoom and we were able to hear from the Honourable Kim Beazely It was a fantastic catch up where he highlighted that Rotary Clubs perform a critical social function - especially in a state like WA where 600 000 people out of 2.5million volunteer well done WA!
