25.01.2022 Sunday worship - thoughts on Communion in these times shared on 2 EAR 107.5 FM. Also highlighting the banner commissioned and blessed on last Sunday and sent to our friends at St Paul's to mark the new season of ministry that they enter today. As we continue to face challenges remember to pray without ceasing and to remain generous in the face of adversity. Blessings

22.01.2022 What we call normal today is recent.

19.01.2022 Just a few thoughts on where we are at and how to handle the red zone ...(inspired from watching the criterium de dauphine). Keep encouraging one another as we climb this hill together. We may not be able to see what is on the other side of the hill but be assured there is an other side of the hill!! History tells me that. Blessings to all.

15.01.2022 How is your physical, emotional and spiritual health today? A word of spiritual encouragement.

12.01.2022 With all the news of the pandemic and the explosion in Beirut last week, there was a little-noticed report about another tragedy within the Anglican Communion: ...Militant gunmen stormed the Anglican Cathedral in Athooch in South Sudan, murdering most of those inside, including the Dean of the Cathedral. From ENS: "At least 23 people were killed and 20 others were wounded when unidentified gunmen stormed a church compound in the Episcopal Church of South Sudan’s Diocese of Athooch in Jonglei state on July 27. The assailants took six children as hostages, Bishop Moses Anur Ayom told Religion Unplugged. "The gunmen attacked Makol Chuei village from two directions, killing the cathedral’s dean and at least 14 women and children who had sought refuge in the church compound, vandalizing the church, destroying their worship instruments and then setting the area ablaze along with the entire village." (ENS, August 4, 2020). I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with the Primate of South Sudan, Archbishop Justin Badi Aram, this past January at the Primates Meeting we hosted at the Dead Sea (see group photo below with Archbishop Suheil). Our prayers go out to all the victims and their families, with intercessions especially for the safe release of the children taken hostage. We also pray for God's Holy Protection upon Archbishop Justin and all his congregations, and for a peaceful end to the six-year-long Civil War in South Sudan. And we pray for all those persecuted for their faith around the world, especially our fellow Christians, who by far make up a majority of those so martyred in the 21st century.

10.01.2022 Not sure what happened yesterday but trusting that the video will post today. An awesome day yesterday - very special as we shared over the radio. It is important to love out of an attitude of humility Philippians 2:5 have the mind/ attitude ...

07.01.2022 A brief message of encouragement in tough times. Looking forward to spring in the Bay and in the Nation.

02.01.2022 A reflection on Rembrance Day. It is good to be back in the Bay after a short but busy breaK. Since last post: Dan, our son has turned 30, Val our aunty has turned 88 and we have caught up with our friends Phil and Gayle in Gosford and Patrick and Ann in Medowie plus hung out, just the two of us for a few days a well. ... mand we managed to have to go back to Canberra for a day as well. God has been gracious giving us blessings and rest but it was strange today to watc...h my youngest neices wedding in Albanmy by zoom - it was just a couple of borders too far for this year. Starting to think of Christmas and what we can do to be less scattered as a worshipping flock this summer .... missing being able to sing together but grateful that we live in this nation and this town. I hope to get this coming Sundays reflection up a bit quicker!! Bless you all. Shalom! See more
