Date: 2.08.20 Venue: Bates Equestrian Pty Ltd 159/161 Putty Road Wilberforce NSW 2756 Contact: Christine Bates 0413 046 041 Do you want to practise/train like a One Day event without the pressure of being at a competition? We will be offering you the chance to do a judged dressage test, show jumping training rounds and XC training rounds. We will have Christine Bates and Sandy Lucas on hand to help/coach everyone that enters. Classes on offer Class 1: 45cm Encouragers (This is great for riders & horses that have never competed before) Dressage Test: Ev-Test A-45&60-2020, Show jumping Height: 45cm, XC Height: 45cm Class 2: 60cm Newcomers Dressage Test: Ev-Test B-45&60-2020, Show Jumping height: 60cm, XC Height: 60cm Class 3: 80cm Introductory Dressage Test: Ev-Test A- 80-2020, Show jumping height: 80cm, XC Height: 80cm Class 4: 95cm Preliminary Dressage test: Ev-Test A-95-2020, Show jumping height: 95cm, XC Height: 95cm Classes 1-4: Dressage tests will be scored, your first SJ round will be used towards your over all score. Cross country rounds will be scored for jumping penalties & time penalties and will to go towards your Final Score. Should any riders have problems out on XC, Sandy and I will be there to help at the end of each class for riders needing/wanting help to re school any problematic fences. Each class from 1-4 will receive Ribbons/prizes from 1st 6th Class 5: For riders competing 105cm & over. Choose your own Dressage test, choose what height you’d like to show jump and cross country will be open flagged giving the riders a chance to train over our more difficult & higher XC fences. Entry Fee for classes 1 -5: $110.00 plus GST. Class 6: Show jumping height classes starting from 105cm, or let me know what height you’d like to jump. Cost: $10.00 plus GST per round. Extra show jumping rounds can be purchased on the day. Overnight Yards: We have a limited number of yards available for overnight hire Cost: $20 per night per horse plus GST Own yards welcome: Must be EA approved yards only, Riders must camp onsite with their horses Cost: $10 per night per horse plus GST. 22.01.2022 #TeamBates dressage arena has been completed. First rider to use the arena was Elise Diamond during her dressage lesson today.

20.01.2022 The BATES EQUESTRIAN TRAINING CLINIC 29.08.20 and the BATES EQUESTRIAN TRAINING DAY - 30.08.20 At this stage we are planning on going ahead with our Bates Equestrian Training Clinic (29.08.20) and Training Day (30.08.20) under the following conditions... 1. No children/junior riders that attend school will be able to participate. There is to be no school children mixing with children from other schools. 19.01.2022 #TeamBates repair and rebuild continues having now moved onto the dressage arena. The 30t of new sand has been mixed with the old sand. This arena has not had sand on or been levelled since we moved to Willow Park with horses in 2005.

07.01.2022 All 5 courses are now available on Cross Country App. So lucky to be able to use this app to help me measure and photograph all the fences in every class.

Although it’s great to have the rain painting wet cross country... fences doesn’t work so well. We will reschedule for another date soon.
