22.01.2022 Commonly known as "polka dot plant", I like to call Hypoestes phyllostachya "confetti plant" because it looks like confetti, especially when seen from far away.... It can come in a variety of shades and leaf shapes, making it pretty for some pops of color in the home. But make note: these plants can get really unkempt, so it's advised to prune them to keep their cute shape. In this video I'll discuss where it is originally native to, where I'm growing it in my home, and basics like light, watering and fertilizing.
