25.01.2022 A bathroom gift for him. Traditional and all natural citrus shave soap. Lemongrass, lime and native Lemon myrtle.
25.01.2022 Brand Spotlight! Rohr Remedy is one of my favourite Australian brands to stock my bathroom cupboard with. They incorporate really cool ingredients that are native to Australia. When you think about it, this is perfect. These plants have evolved with the right ingredients to be able to withstand the harsh Australian environment... a great example is the Kakadu plum. I learned about this one quite a few years ago, it has one of the highest concentrations of Vitamin C on the planet! The perfect botanical for antioxidant protection. Imagine what these goodies can do for you. Find Rohr Remedy products at www.bathroombeauty.com.au/product-catego/featured-brands//
25.01.2022 Fun Fact Friday! Did you know the Turkish Peshtemal was pretty much the first towel invented! The invention of the towel is commonly associated with the city of Bursa, Turkey, in the 17th century. These Turkish towels began as a flat, woven piece of cotton or linen then called a pestamel. Pestamel were used in Turkish baths as they stayed light when wet and were very absorbent. No wonder we love the modern peshtemal, they have a rich history of knowledge and weaving experience.
24.01.2022 Happy New Year and welcome to 2019! As the hangover fades and we set sail, what's on your list for the year ahead?
23.01.2022 Keep an eye out friends... a few new styles just a few short weeks away!
22.01.2022 Time for another Fun Fact Friday! It's very commonplace and normal these days for the toilet to be IN the bathroom. But not that long ago (ok, it was awhile ago), it wasn't even in the house! In the 1950s the outhouse was still used in Australia, and even in Brisbane many places were still un-sewered until the 1960's. Look at the rows of 'outhouses' in the backyards of suburban Brisbane in this historical photo. A little different to our luxury bathrooms today. 22.01.2022 Merry Christmas! Wishing everyone a beautiful season of giving, and a relaxing break!
22.01.2022 Good morning! For about 5 weeks now, I've gone back to my roots, and swapped my morning coffee for something that looks a little more like this... Jumping back into Tuesday with some green energy!
20.01.2022 This is my favourite, the Pietra. Beautiful natural calcatta marble with rose gold electroplated finishes. Link in Bio.
20.01.2022 Tile Inspiration for Tuesday! We love mosaic tiles, it's a great way to add some sophisticated style and a feature in your bathroom... and there are so many different ones choose from! Depending on your design plan, you can use them on the spashback, the wall or even the floor.
19.01.2022 I am always amazed at how an image, a sound or a smell can evoke memories so strongly - the brain works in wonderful ways. This image takes me to Inoko's spiced Lime and Sandlewood scented candle. (Which would be nice on this rainy night alongside a warm bath)

18.01.2022 What's the deal with magnesium bath salts? Magnesium is an amazing mineral, that our body needs. Did you know it plays a role in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the human body, including energy production! It also helps to maintain normal nerve function, muscle function and bone health. So magnesium bath salts... for those aching muscles! Magnesium baths have been used for many many years, and are credited with relaxing, soothing and rejuvenating those aching muscles. Try some in your next bath.

14.01.2022 Fun Fact Friday: Have you been watching coverage of Prince Harry and Meghan's Australian visit over the last couple weeks? Here's a fun royal bathroom fact. Buckingham palace has 78 bathrooms! Seventy eight!! That's a lot of bathrooms to keep clean. I wonder if the Queen has any scented candles in those bathrooms.
14.01.2022 It's a hot one here today! Keep cool people.
12.01.2022 Who needs this today? Anyone make a start on 'get fit again' new year intentions/resolutions this weekend like we did? Magnesium bath salts are th perfect way to soothe aching muscles at the end of the day.

11.01.2022 Still looking for Christmas gifts. Try an indulgent bath pack.
10.01.2022 Happy Mother's Day to all the Mums!
09.01.2022 We love a tidy bathroom, with everything in its place... But what should you display and what should go away? Is it ok to have some items out on the vanity benchtop? Bench space on bathroom vanities is usually limited, so we say keep things as tidy as possible. Ideally your vanity should be as free from clutter as possible, with just a couple of statement pieces i.e. the accesories set, a candle and maybe some flowers. Don't leave your make up out, if you don't have enough storage grab some cane baskets to store makeup and brushes, and pop them under the sink or in your bedroom cupboard and bring them out when needed.
08.01.2022 Bath time inspiration. I would love a mid week soak in this tub... what do you mean it's only Tuesday!
08.01.2022 Holidays are over. It is officially time to take down the Christmas tree. Swap the fake Christmas tree for some live greenery in your bathroom to create some resort style and keep alive the holiday feels.
06.01.2022 Wait, what? It's the weekend again... I popped some bubbly tonight but I think my dancing on the table days might be behind me though.
06.01.2022 Brown paper packages tied up with string... #favouritethings #bathroombeauty
05.01.2022 Nothing says luxury, sanctuary and resort style like a freestanding bath. From a beautiful old claw foot tub to a modern stone number. And the bigger the better (especially for long legs like mine!)
05.01.2022 Who's heading back to work tomorrow? Don't think about it yet! Run a bath, add some magnesium bath salts and relax one last time before the busy work year ahead!
04.01.2022 Added to the collection. Rattan accessories up on the store soon!
01.01.2022 Fun Fact Friday! Anyone a bit of a traveller? I used to be... I spent a large part of my 20's seeing as much of the world as I could. I still have a number of old, outdated Lonely Planet books that I just cannot bear to part with. A couple years ago, the Lonely Planet published a list of the world's best bathrooms! Can you guess where they are? Not surprisingly, Japan takes out number 1 with the bathrooms at The Park Hyatt in Tokyo. Also making the list is a public toilet turned Cafe in London called The Attendant. Yes you read that right... and yes, those were urinals on the left!
