24.01.2022 Hard to believe a month has gone by since my last posting. Once again sad news as we lost another precious fur baby - Peta Lahey made her journey over rainbow bridge. My sincerest condolences to her mum Lynne. Some great news, April has had her beautiful baby girl, Grace, who will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. Thank you to my beautiful customers who have kept me going during the cold months & kept your gorgeous pooches maintained before they get matted. Now to sound a little narki...e. Officially I commence work at 9am. If organised prior I will take earlier drop offs but not before 8am. If you do ask for an early drop off, please honour that time. If it’s a 9am appointment please don’t come before then. Please remember also this is my home too & i’m not available outside of operational hours for call ins however text messages or via Facebook messenger are fine. Also bare in mind as it is my home to try to prevent your pooches from toileting on my house & if they do defecate on my front lawn please pick it up. See more

24.01.2022 Hi All Just a reminder that it’s the time of year where I’m booked out a few weeks in advance & December is filling up fast so unfortunately I just can’t fit one more in at the last minute unless there’s been a cancellation. I’m sure all local groomers will be in the same boat so please plan ahead. Also it’s unfortunately the time of year we see the once a year extremely matted pooches which is heartbreaking. The matting causes pain to the pooch & it’s a task getting their coats off & of course there’s no other option but to shave them. These jobs incur additional charges given the length of time taken to get through their coats & it blunts the blades. Here’s a video of today’s cuties waiting for their final clips (they have a rough clip, bath, blow dry then I go over their coats again

22.01.2022 End of the day clean up & last pick ups waiting for their families

20.01.2022 Not liking this cold weather & of course it’s the quieter time of the year for clipping, but we still do face, feet & tails with the bath water set at 43 degrees & a warm blow dry after if you don’t want a full clip during these cold months. There are longer clips available so long as their coats aren’t matted. My sincerest condolences go out to the Halls family as they grieve the loss of their beautiful boy Jerry who passed over rainbow bridge since my last posting. He was dearly loved and 17 & a half years old. Such a lovely boy. My heart breaks for your loss. Stay safe everyone & have a great weekend & enjoy some behind the scene pics

20.01.2022 Just checking in. Hope you are all well. My hours of work predominantly are 9-4 or by appointment these days. I’m happy to do earlier drop offs but please organise this with me prior or if you can’t pick up till after 4 please inform me at time of booking your appointment. It’s that time of year I see heartbreaking cases of dogs neglected for at least a year. It’s painful for the dog to go through the process of having their coats removed & challenging for the groomer. Some of these poor pooches need to be sedated & done by a vet. Please get your dogs groomed on a 3 monthly basis. Often there is imbedded grass seeds that are dangerous & can kill them or their eyes have built up dried sleep that when removed they have bleeding & weeping sores. If you’re getting a pup, please equate the grooming into its life care

19.01.2022 With all the devastation going on throughout our country with the fires & heartbreaking loss of lives (human, pets, wildlife), property & those evacuated not knowing what will happen, I feel quite hesitant to write this post. However, following quite a nasty experience with an irregular customer yesterday I feel it is necessary to remind people there are two sides at least to a story. This person brings her pooch in quite matted 9-12 monthly. When a dog arrives in this condit...ion, it takes a lot longer to get their coat off & is always a shave & often it’s like tediously chiseling away to get their hair off. On informing this person that I would have to charge an additional $10 I saw a disturbing side to her where not only was I subjected to a vitriolic abusive rage with childish name calling, expletives & threats that she would ruin me, she also attempted to do a runner without paying for the service even after I agreed this time to charge her what I’ve charged since February 2014. My reason for this post is to inform people that if you do not get your dog/s groomed regularly & they arrive in an appalling state, you cannot expect the same price charged as those who get their dogs groomed 6-12 weekly. There are times I’m sickened by the state some people let their poor pooches get into. It’s cruel to the poor soul. To end this post once again my thoughts lay with those caught up in the catastrophic fires & to thank our heroes, the fire fighters & all of the volunteers helping the victims. Take care people & thank you to my many wonderful customers who continue to support & place their trust in me with their precious family members

18.01.2022 Hi All Hope you are well. Firstly we grieve another loss, Ralph Brown who recently crossed over rainbow bridge. My sincerest condolences to Angela & Owen for this heartbreaking loss. Angela gave me a beautiful pot plant holder that she made to thank me for taking care of him all these years. It’s the time of year that I’m inundated. At the moment I’m booked out 2 weeks in advance & don’t forget to book very early for December appointments if you want your babies done before C...hristmas. I can only physically do a certain amount of pooches per day. Apologies if it takes me a while to return calls, it’s difficult taking calls during the day when I’m grooming. The best & quickest way to contact is by texting my mobile 0447 002 137 or via Facebook messenger & messaging me via my page. I had a few days away last week to have a mini break just before I hit my extremely busy season so my sincerest apologies to those who left messages on my landline. Again my best form of contact is via my mobile or messenger. Stay safe & thank you See more

18.01.2022 Happy New Year to you all however my thoughts lay with so many fellow Australians caught up in the catestropic fires throughout or country, absolutely devastating. Hoping you all had a lovely Christmas. Thank you so much for the beautiful gifts and cards I received. I feel very appreciated. I’m not taking any time off during the next few months so will be working Monday to Friday & some Saturdays. My official hours are 9-4.30 so please be mindful of this when booking in. Ear...lier drop offs can be requested after 8.00am. Saturday finishes are based on the amount I have booked in. Please ensure your pooches are flea free & vaccinations are up to date. If you’re on holidays & travelling please stay safe. Not many pictures taken, very busy leading up to Christmas so if your fur babies aren’t here, my apologies See more

18.01.2022 Hi All Hope you are keeping safe & warm with the cold weather & all the uncertainty over the past months. On a positive note, how good has this rain been filling up our dam, things we’re looking grim a few months back. Sad news as we grieve the loss of 2 of my beautiful groom pooches. Miss Belle Parkes & Ryley Pears crossed over rainbow bridge recently leaving huge holes in the hearts of their gorgeous families. My heart breaks for them & my sincerest condolences to Sue, Lynn...e & Derek. Thank you for your support & trusting me all these years with your precious babies. As we approach the warmer months, it’s best to book appointments 1-2 weeks in advance & I’m also taking December bookings from now & that month is usually full be the end of September. I haven’t taken many photos of late but will finish off with this cutie pie. Also thank you to my regulars who have kept me going over the winter months See more

16.01.2022 Hi All Hope this finds you well. So wonderful to have these recent downpours, hoping there’s more to come & reaches the places it needs. Another sad loss of Sammy Hossle. Sincerest condolences to Eric, Jenny & Frida. Welcome back Denise & Dianne who lost their fur babies a few years ago & have finally been able to open their hearts & homes to new puppies. I’m still working sporadic Saturdays at the moment.

15.01.2022 Monthly check in. Hope this finds you all well. This month I’m just posting a video of 3 of my cute customers at play. Sadly another 2 long term pooches have crossed over Rainbow Bridge, Teddy Hevgold & Monte Noonan. My sincerest condolences to their beautiful families, my heart breaks for your loss & time of grief. As the colder months approach, don’t forget the option of having just face, feet & tails done so their eyes, paws & private parts don’t get matted or overgrown

15.01.2022 Hi all Hope you are all well. I’m still able to fit a few grooms in for the month of December as some of my regulars brought their appointments forward. Please message me on my business mobile 0447 002 137 or Facebook messenger. Please remember my hours are 9-4 & if you need to drop off earlier or pick up later please let me know prior to the day of appointment. I haven’t taken many photos again since my last post

14.01.2022 Hope you’re all keeping safe. Business still as usual at the moment. Just had to post these 2 cutie pies having a play this morning

14.01.2022 Hi all Hope this finds you all well. Just wanted to post a few pics of some of my beautiful customers over the past week. Trying to make a concerted effort to take more

13.01.2022 Happy new year to you all. I’m sorry if 2020 hasn’t been good for you & hope 2021 is much better for you. I hope you had a lovely Christmas & nice night last night. I’m back on deck from Tuesday if you need your precious pooches groomed. I’m unable to edit my address & working hours on this site but I work by appointment, usually working Monday to Friday in the warmer months 9-4 (earlier drop offs or later pick ups possible with prior notice) & some Saturdays.... Quickest way for a response is by messaging my mobile on 0447 002 137 or Facebook messenger private page of business page. Stay safe & hope to see you soon

13.01.2022 Hi all Hope you are all keeping safe & well. I’m still operating. No appointments left this week though. Just posting a video today, these fur babies at play have only had their rough clip, bath & blowdry at this stage

12.01.2022 Hi All Hoping this finds you well in these current uncertain & troubling times. At present I am still operating but am complying with social distancing & disinfecting eftpos facilities between use. Please stay safe & my thoughts go out to so many of you during these difficult times

11.01.2022 Hi All Hope you are keeping cool & keeping your precious fur babies cool & comfortable in this weather & NOT walking them in hot temperatures. Safest temperature is under 25 otherwise they are at risk of heat exhaustion. I’m getting a lot of calls for stripping out large breed dogs such as huskies, malamutes, maremmas that are a few years old & never been groomed before. Please please please for the sake of your pooch & the groomers start getting your pooches used to grooming at a young age. Dogs can be extremely strong & when they aren’t used to grooming, break groomer’s property/equipment & also cause injuries to us. No pics of my groom pooches this post but a video of 4 of my 6 girls letting off steam since some evenings it’s far too hot to do their regular hours walk

10.01.2022 Hi all What bizarre weather we are having at the moment. The month of December is virtually full with scarce appointments available. I still have available appointments this month and November still has numerous vacancies and I will be open in January with the exception of Sundays, public holidays & some Saturdays. It’s been very busy so I haven’t taken many photos since my last post. Please be mindful of my business hours. Officially I am 9-4.30. Should you require slightly earlier drop offs, please arrange so before hand. Please don’t ring for appointments after 5pm, Saturday nights, Sundays or public holidays. It’s okay to message but if it’s late at night or weekends please don’t expect an immediate response.

09.01.2022 Hi all Just advising that I’m booked out till Christmas Eve, if however you are one of my regulars who forgot to book in, I will happily accommodate you somehow in appreciation of your loyalty. Unfortunately I had a new customer book 3 poodles in & didnt show. She made the appointment via my business page but deleted the message & blocked me so I couldn’t contact her. These appointments could have been filled by others desperate to get their dogs groomed if they had the decency to cancel the appointment at least the day beforehand. I’m considering taking credit card details from new customers booking in more than one dog or a large breed that 3 small dogs could be groomed in their place if they don’t show up.

09.01.2022 The year seems to be flying by. Thank you to my gorgeous regular customers that keep my small business running in the colder months & welcome to my new customers that have found me. Not long now till April’s baby is due, she could arrive any minute. We say a very sad farewell to some beautiful souls who have passed away in the past month - Riley Hanrahan, Bella Brown & Scoota Marton. My sincerest condolences to their beautiful families for their huge loss, my heart breaks for them Some pics from the last few weeks

08.01.2022 Any chance you have a free space for my darling Chewie next 14 days, Chewie is so terribly hot (and yes very very fat)

08.01.2022 Hi all, hope you are well & keeping safe during this time. Whilst I’ve cut back my days & hours in the winter months I am still operating. There is nothing more joyous than watching puppies at play & these 3 (2 x Archie & Whoopie) had a ball. They’ve only had their rough clips, baths & blow dry at this stage. On a sadder note my sincerest condolences go out to Julie with the loss of her beautiful boy Basil who crossed rainbow bridge recently at the amazing age of 19. My heart breaks for you in this time of grieving. Thinking of you

08.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone It’s been a very busy few weeks leading up to Christmas & I’m looking forward to a few days rest & recreation. I know 2020 hasn’t been the best year for many & some of you won’t be enjoying today & im sorry about this. We lost another precious soul in the past few weeks, the beautiful Mickey Roxborough, a very sweet boy. My sincerest condolences to his beautiful family for their heartbreaking loss. Thank you again to my loyal & regular customers & so...me of the lovely gifts I’ve received, it’s wonderful to be appreciated for what I do. I’m working a couple of days between Christmas & New Year & January will return pretty much to normal operation. Stay safe & take care See more

07.01.2022 Hi all, a reminder to get your November & December appointments in ASAP, both months filling fast & my next available appointments aren’t till 7/10. Whilst my prices haven’t increased since 2014 & will remain the same to those who get their pooches groomed regularly, this time of year I get dogs coming in extremely matted which takes a long time to get their coat off & blunts the blades. In these cases I have no choice but to charge additional. I will also be charging addit...ional prices for dogs that come in with fleas (flea treat your dogs please) as well as difficult dogs that I have to call in help in order to do them. Once again a gentle reminder that this is my home so please be mindful when you ring me or drop & pick your pooches up. Officially I work 9-4.30, earlier drop offs must be organised prior & not before 8.01 as well as later pick ups. It’s much easier for me to respond to messages than take phone calls too, please also be mindful when your sending messages that they aren’t too late & please not on a Saturday night or Sunday (I probably won’t respond then) We sadly farewell Tash Crompton & Dehlia Shroader since my last post who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge. Sincerest condolences to their beautiful family. Also my thoughts are with several of my wonderful customers battling cancer at the moment & those with other medical issues, sending love & hugs to you all. See more

07.01.2022 Wishing my wonderful customers a fantastic & safe merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I’m booked out till Christmas but doing a few days between Christmas & new year. My sincerest sympathies to those who lost family members this year. Sadly we lost one of our own yesterday who crossed rainbow bridge, RIP to our Saffy & Shane from Pets at Peace will put her to her final resting place. Also sincere condolences to Mrs Cafe for the passing of her Harry last week. Thank you for your tolerance when my caffeine hasn’t kicked in & the days I’m so busy that I can’t stop & chat for long. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. Also a reminder that my hours of operation are 9-4.30 please pre-arrange earlier drop offs. Not many photos to post as it’s been far too busy to think about taking them

06.01.2022 Hi all Hope this finds you & your gorgeous pooches well. I still have sparse availability in December however a number of vacancies in November should you need your pooch groomed by then. Please message me during business hours if possible. My official operational hours are 9-4.30 unless otherwise prearranged. Here’s some pics

06.01.2022 Just a quick post today informing you I’m still operating this week. Limited space available Tuesday but have a few appointments available for Thursday & Friday this week. In compliance with social distancing & your safety, all drop offs & pick ups will be outside & eftpos facilitates disinfected between use. Thank you for your continued support. Stay safe people & take care

04.01.2022 It’s that’s time of year that I get inundated with messages & calls. Please get your appointments in early (particularly November & December). I can only do so many pooches a day so if you don’t want to miss out please book early. Also I need to ask my valued customers to please respect my privacy outside of business hours. I officially start at 9am. If you haven’t organised an earlier drop off please do not knock on my door before that. No earlier drop offs than 8.01 too ple...ase. Please do not call after 5pm or Saturday nights & Sundays. If you message me after hours or on weekends please be patient as I do have a private life & friends & family that take priority outside of working hours. I appreciate your understanding. Also apologies in advance if I’m often dismissive & hasty as I do have customers wanting a quick turn around & as I’m the only groomer & whilst I do like a natter, I often don’t have the time I would like to give to you. This month we say farewell to Tash, who recently crossed rainbow bridge. Sincerest condolences to her family. Take care & thank you to my loyal customers once again that keep me going during the colder months See more

02.01.2022 I want to offer my apologies to the many messages I haven’t returned. I don’t have any appointments left prior to Christmas & I’m being inundated with calls. I’m working as many hours as my hands allow me to each day, this is 8 hours straight grooming with no break. I will still be working most week days in January. Most groomers, including myself have their regulars book in for the December month in September/October. Also my sincerest condolences to little Calvin Yates who passed away last week & to the wonderful Reardon family who sadly lost 3 in small intervals this year - RIP Winston, Bella & Molly. Thanking all of my beautiful long term customers who have stuck with me & welcome to the new ones.
