Your support will certainly go a long way in helping our community families in the Central West. Thank you Shout out to Angus for helping to unload the truck.

14.01.2022 The Central Tablelands Food Pantry has been able to help many of our community families needing a little support. Before our Food Pantry began operating in April this year, we as a church had no idea just how bad things are in our community. Our monthly food parcel distribution has increased from 100 food parcels in April to 160 in September, and we're not too far away from needing to increase the number yet again to 200 food parcels. Our food parcels provide more than a few... meals. For many, it gives them a reason to "hang on to hope" that things will get better. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, our volunteers and other organisations, we can do more to help our community. ADRA Australia has played a significant role in establishing The Cental Tablelands Food Pantry, and this month through the ADRA Appeal, you can support tremendous initiatives, like The Central Tablelands Food Pantry, to help people in need. To donate to the ADRA Appeal, please click on the following link. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated and will go along way in helping others. If you would like to donate directly to The Central Tablelands Food Pantry please send us a private message or email us at [email protected] We thank you in advanced for your support and we wish you all a safe and restful weekend ahead and God bless. https://www.adra.org.au/adra-appeal/

10.01.2022 On Friday, 29 January 2021, we had the opportunity to hangout & get to know some of the local kids & parents at the skate park. It was such a good afternoon and it wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of amazing community leaders. We want to thank our Super Kool Mayor of Bathurst CR. Bobby Bourke & th...e Bathurst Community Opp-Shop. A big shout out to the amazing Rhonda & Vic from Vic's Fat Pizza who generously donated pizza’s for the event - the pizza’s were a HIT!!! 04.01.2022 An update regarding Big Camp

04.01.2022 Last Tuesday the Central Tablelands Food Pantry completed its fifth food parcel run EVER!! I can't believe where the time has gone and even more surprised that we've gone from packing 100 food parcels our first two months to 140 parcels this month and possibly 160 parcels next month!! We'll wait and see what happens between now and the 22nd of September, before deciding to increase our production. Anyway, we have learned lots during the short time we have been in operation. ...Continue reading

03.01.2022 There were a couple of "firsts" for The Central Tablelands Food Pantry yesterday: It was the first time we had our Food Bank order delivered to Bathurst (a minor detour through Bonnells Bay). This is a huge step forward for us, as this saves our team a day trip to Sydney and back to Bathurst. It was the first time our food parcel numbers have hit 160. This is exciting that we're able to find and support more of our community families. But it also highlights that there are... more families in our region, that need a bit of support that we have yet to reach. Thank you to our amazing leaders for the work you do behind the scenes to make the magic happen, together with our awesome volunteers. Rachel Moala and the Hornsby Thrifty Branch for your generosity with the truck hire from April to August. Your support has truly been a blessing to us and our region. Of course, we thank God for the ability and means to serve our community by doing what we do, because that is what He has called us to do. Have a great day people, and I wish you all every blessing.

01.01.2022 The Central Tablelands Food Pantry had another successful run this week, which saw an increase in our production from 100 food parcels to 120 this month. This month is only the third time running our Food Pantry, and we are connecting with more families doing things tough in our communities of Bathurst, Mandurama, and Cowra. Next month, we will be looking at increasing our production yet again. So watch this space. We want to recognise the amazing people and organisations th...at have helped us connect our Food Pantry with community families needing a helping hand. Thank you to the Bathurst Lions Club for the Certificate of Appreciation, and thank you to the Lions Club President, Merryl David for being instrumental in connecting us with key community leaders. Thank you to Lions Club members Gavan Ellis and Trevor Toole for your service to farming families in the region and to some of our schools in Bathurst. Thank you to Graham Clayton from St Vincent de Paul, for your work with families in and around Bathurst and Orange. Thank you, Keshav Pillai, from the Bathurst Men Connect group, from the Bathurst Neighbourhood Centre, for your help with packing the fruit and vegetables for our food parcels. Thanks to the best basketball teams this side of the Blue Mountains, and students from Bathurst High, for your muscles in unloading the food truck, and then loading it up again for our run to Mandurama and Cowra (Angus, Liam, Nick, Alex, Harrison, Ben, Jonty, Tyler and Brendan). Thank you to Lynne, Suse, Brad and Merryl, for organising things behind the scenes and putting it all together to make it all work. Thanks to our amazing volunteers and church members from Bathurst, Orange, Mandurama and Cowra for your dedications, your efforts to coming out in Bathurst chill to pack our parcels, and for all your prayers and support. Finally and most importantly, we thank and praise God for the privilege to serve our community in this way, and for opening up some tremendous doors of opportunity to connect with our community families. I wish you all a blessed Sabbath, a safe and relaxing weekend ahead, and thank you again for your support. God bless.
