Please remember, only one spectator per participant, and most importantly, please do not attend Club night if you or your children are unwell, or have any symptoms of COVID-19.... CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: By entering via Swim Central or by email you are making the following declarations: 1. You (the spectator) and your child (the participant) have not travelled to Victoria in the past 14 days 2. Membership with the BCASC allows swimmers to participate in Club nights held every Friday night during school term at the Manning Aquatic Centre, and also to enter various swimming carnivals held in NSW under the Swimming NSW Framework. 12.01.2022 POSITION VACANT Lithgow Swimming Club are seeking Expressions of Interest for a Head Swimming Coach. Lithgow Swimming Club is a competitive swimming club based ...just west of the Blue Mountains. We offer swimmers a professional, caring environment in which to pursue goals and dreams, while impressing upon them the importance of resilience, commitment, hard work and enjoyment. We are currently seeking a result driven coach with Development Level qualifications, previously Bronze Level (or above) who is passionate about competitive swimming and coaching. The successful applicant will be tasked with designing, and coaching the designated squad utilising your experience and knowledge of best practice. You will have the assistance of volunteer coaches and the Swimming Club committee. You will be required to implement a program to motivate and develop our athletes with the aim to meet regional and state age targets and achieve competitive success at this level. The successful person will embrace positive ideals and values promoting an environment in which swimmers develop self-esteem, self-confidence, discipline, effective habits and motivation to succeed. Your duties: Plan, deliver and manage the squad’s program, with the assistance of qualified volunteer assistant coaches Work collaboratively with and mentor volunteer coaches, parents and the club committee & motivate squad swimmers to achieve squad swimming goals and achieve successful competitive results. Communicate in a positive, effective and timely manner with swimmers, parents and volunteer coaches Provide guidance to volunteer coaches to assist in the implementation of squad programs Minimum qualifications and experience at the time of appointment: Development Level accreditation (previously Bronze licence) or above. Experience and demonstrated success coaching at a high level. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to secure a Working with Children Check Hold a current ASCTA membership or willingness to obtain one Working hours and pay 10-15 hours per week, however as this is a new position we would be open to negotiation.
