25.01.2022 We are hiring !! Exciting opportunity to join a great team based in Bathurst. Full-time, permanent role offering a variety of work, flexible work hours and future growth.

25.01.2022 Lets talk Christmas and Community As a work family we decided to take part in something a little greater than ourselves this year and be involved in Operation Christmas Child - a project of Samaritans Purse Australia/New Zealand which provides gift - filled shoe boxes to kids in developing nations that wouldnt normally receive gifts at Christmas! We had so much fun with this little project, with the team managing to return 11 (full to the brim!) shoeboxes and were so ...grateful that we are fortunate enough to be able to give back and put some smiles on little faces! #operationchristmaschild #samaritainspurse #bathurst2795 #christmas #givingback #community #electricians

23.01.2022 Safe Driving Is Important To Us It has come to our attention that one of our team members has driven in an unsafe manner while travelling in a Bathurst Electrical vehicle. We would like to extend a sincere apology to any individual(s) who may have witnessed and/or were affected by this behaviour.... This is not what were about. The actions of one of our staff members is in no way a representation of Bathurst Electrical, our team or our services. We value and encourage safe driving and will strive to do better. In fact, we are already taking steps to improve: Firstly, the issue has been addressed by senior management with the staff member involved and they are currently on leave and we are reviewing appropriate safe-driver courses. Secondly, all the Bathurst Electrical vehicles in our fleet are now equipped with GPS tracking systems to help monitor and discourage unsafe driving. Once again, we are very sorry about this unfortunate experience. We do not condone this behaviour in any way and we will do everything we can to ensure it doesnt happen again. Rest assured that our service is unaffected and we will continue to provide the same excellent, reliable service that our community knows and loves. Bathurst Electrical Management

18.01.2022 Our Mums are worth celebrating all year around. But Sunday is Mothers Day! A chance to say thank you! Mothers Day is important to us and we are always looking for ways to celebrate family. For Mothers Day this year, one of our team is giving their mum the gift of new downlights in the kitchen (not saying how long shes been waiting for them though). ... What are you thinking of doing? Maybe some jobs around the house? Maybe flowers? Or maybe you could organise the Bathurst Electrical team to complete some electrical repairs or installations, that she has been waiting for.

18.01.2022 ITS OK TO ASK FOR HELP In Australia, men are three times more likely to die by suicide than women yet evidence indicates men are far less likely to seek help for mental health conditions than women. Bathurst Electrical acknowledges that mental health is as important as physical health and, as such, we have taken multiple steps in order to help raise awareness about mental health and offer support to those who need it in our community, including the Bathurst Electrical team.... 14.01.2022 Sometimes work can get a little "tyre"ing and "exhaust"ing right?? DID YOU KNOW Work related mental health conditions cost Australia... $600 million each year in workers compensation alone. The true cost to workers, families, organisations and the community is much higher. Psychological risks are treated the same as physical risks under work health safety laws. As part of National Safe Work Month Safe Work Australia recognises this week as Mental Health Week. We spend a large portion of our waking hours at work so take the time to talk and (more importantly) listen to your co-workers and employees, identify work related causes of stress and take action to reduce them. Oh, and dont forget to have a laugh. SafeWork NSW #nationalsafeworkmonth #bathurstelectrical #mentalhealthawareness #workhealthandsafety #safeworkaustralia #mentalhealth #WHS

03.01.2022 This Is A Conversation Starter Nearly 8 Australians take their own life everyday - 6 of whom are men. Suicide is the leading cause of death in men aged 15 to 44. Despite this, 65% of people with common mental illnesses do not seek professional help. As part of our continued efforts in helping raise awareness for mental heath, we held a support to skills information session run by @marathon.health where we discussed mental health and how it is more common than we think.... Swipe right to check out our new uniforms by @trademutt that are conversation starters about mental health. We hope these new additions will encourage people to speak up. 02.01.2022 ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the Galipoli landings, the major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand Forces in the first world War. Though we are unable to physically attend ANZAC Day Services, we can still commemorate the day. We are encouraged to honour the service and sacrifice of our veterans and current servicemen and women, in compliance with current restrictions. We can do this by standing at our letterboxes at 6am to listen to the Bathurst RSL Sub-Branchs Service on 2BS (95.1 fm), B-Rock (99.3 fm) or 2MCE (92.3 fm). Or through their webpages or apps. The National Commemorative Service will also be broadcast on the ABC from 5:30am.
