16.01.2022 Hey everyone. I cant believe Im open 3 years as of Wednesday. Thank you all so much for all your help, love, nurturing and support. Hattie Harnett, Courtney Roberts, Corey Smith, Morgan Mitchell, Louisa Huges, Zoe Sciberras, and Leanne Holz. We have created a shop that I adore. I say we and mean it. Through the worst drought ever, the worst fires ever, and now a recession this team has kept Bathurst Tack Box open and sustainable. I want to add my thanks to Kerrie ONeill,... Louise Press, and Morgen Neal, who are no longer in the business day to day but did a lot to keep the shop going and support my family. I want to thank all the contractors: Robin Wills, Sam Tilden and Bronwen Lewis, Mark Friedrich, Bob Handcock- Hell Bent For Leather, Margi Withers, Dave Morris, Vicki Harris, Daniel Martin, Sharon Perkins who make me look good on a daily basis, providing high-quality hand made items and repairing tack so its better than new. I Want to thank my family, Norah Wells, Paul Theobald, the munchkins, Max Blackburn and Katherine Blackburn who take a fair load and those wonderful dogs who keep giving their love every day and make our business more than just a shop. More recently, I must comment on the fabulous work our online sales team Louisa Huges and The Promotion Hub is trying to drag me into the world of online marketing and Olivia making me actually look professional. Our finance and admin team are behind the scenes keeping the growing business under control: Morgan Mitchell and Courtney Roberts Now we are taking a new step to provide the Central West horse community with an even more sustainable and conscientious business. The consignment business will run as a not for profit, all commissions will give back to the community through sponsorship and support. This will be run by Hattie Harnett Leanne Holz, Deidre Kinghorn and myself for a year. We will still host the not-for-profit at the Bathurst Tack Box and continue to upcycle the items that come in with both Corey and Morgan working for both businesses. Meanwhile, I can continue to make herbal treatments for horses and focus on promoting our local trades to the world. Thank you for your continued support of Bathurst Tack Box.
