16.01.2022 Announcement: Kerry Fragar, BJJ Purple Belt will be teaching the Monday night class this week! This is a great opportunity to learn from a high level female who is also the assistant BJJ program coordinator at Bathurst. If you haven't had a chance to train yet with Kerry- tomorrow at 6:30pm is your chance. Also available for one on one, or two on one hour long privates before class.

15.01.2022 New class alert Starting this Monday we will be adding another Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class to the weekly schedule. This means that we now have a BJJ class available every other day. Can’t wait to see you guys there and kick this off right! Time = 6:30-8:00pm Mondays

13.01.2022 Time to celebrate our friends out at orange opening a new location and the easing of restrictions allowing rolling again. Anyone free tomorrow should make the effort to drop in and catch up after all these months of solo training.

13.01.2022 Exciting news to all who train BJJ out west. Starting the 21st of this month Sam Traish and Pat Dorahy (BJJ black belts) will conducting monthly masterclass mini seminars covering a different BJJ position each month. The masterclass for this month will be side. You will cover perfect top control, escaping from the bottom, Common submission setups/defenses and a question section for anything specific to your side control. Perfect for high and low belts alike. We will finish wi...th a 1 hour rolling session with the black belts and attendees. This is going to be a phenomenal addition to your training as we will cover an entire month of lesson content in one day! This is an ongoing monthly event as we cover a new position each month and we encourage everyone to come as you'll get something new to take back to your respective school or just get in some rolls with some BJJ black belts. Location = 15 Bradwardine Rd, Bathurst Length = Masterclass 2-2.5 hours and 1 hour rolling Time = late morning/ early afternoon. Price = $60 per person for almost 3.5hours of content. Instructors = Sam Traish and Patrick Dorahy (BJJ black belts) + additional assistant instructors. *Gi or No gi both welcome.

08.01.2022 Just another Friday night, and where would you rather be? A great group of people, we are consistently turning up in good numbers, every training night this week was around 25 people! Everyone is on their own journey in this sport and all participants are constantly improving in their techniques by picking up what’s being taught and then proving it within the rolls, getting better by the week. Hugely proud of where we are in our club.

06.01.2022 Monday night training, take 2. Another great session with Tim leading the class on some often forgotten skills when starting a roll from the knees. Among the 20 plus people again, it was awesome to see a couple of new faces in the mix and we’re looking forward to them coming back to learn more over the coming weeks. ... Don’t forget there’s classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:30pm and Saturday’s at 11am for adults BJJ.

05.01.2022 What a great Friday night to end Term 3. Bathurst had the biggest presence on the Mats and many new stripes were handed out due to the hard work pulled off while on their Jiu-Jitsu journeys. The album of photos should be uploaded later this week. Thank you everyone for making it a success and looking forward to a lot of exciting things planned in Term 4!

01.01.2022 Sam and co. will be running around, up and down hills and through mud jumping over obstacles in the Bright Spartan race this weekend. So this Saturday’s 16th November class will be taken by Chris Traish. This is an awesome opportunity to train with Chris. You may even be lucky enough to learn a couple of little tricks to catch Sam out next time. See you all next week.
