25.01.2022 Today BPD starts its virtual journey around the Western Region Clubs, a total of 1648km. This will be made up of walks or runs over Spring (Sep to Nov 2020) and will raise funds for the Cancer Council charity. Well done to our participants: Laurence, Deb, Lou, Sue J, Yvonne, Linda, Kylie, Felicity, Susan C, Vicki G, Cate H and Rosemary.

08.01.2022 Our friends at the Parkes DB club are organising a challenge to virtually walk/run a course going around the Western Region. Walks are done in your own time and all add up over a period to try to get a distance of 1648km. Members - contact the BPD club if interested - cost $15 and starts from 1 Sep 2020.

06.01.2022 Weve been paddling at Bathurst Aquatic Centre the last few weeks on Tue evenings as Chifley Dam is closed due to algae. The pool provides great resistance training - each stroke is tough as the boat has no gliding momentum. Plus a bit of fun in the pool for the warm up & cool down
