03.01.2022 Exciting times ahead for Rugby in Bathurst. Last week the BJRC Committee unanimously approved to proceed with a memorandum of understanding to amalgamate with Bathurst Bulldogs Rugby. Senior Executive Committee members of the Senior and Junior Committee have been developing a Memorandum of Understanding that will see the Juniors become a subcommittee of the senior club with at least one executive seat and one committee seat at the Club Board table. The Memorandum of Unde...rstanding will be voted upon at a Special General Meeting to be held immediately before this year’s Junior and possibly final Annual General Meeting (subject to the MOU being accepted). Finishing touches are currently being put on the MOU for distribution to members when the notice of AGM and SGM are given. We are excited because this means that we are one club from U6s all the way through to first grade with shared facilities, responsibility and custodianship of our game in the Bathurst region. More news will follow once the MOU is ready to distribute to our members.
