It was stolen from my garage at 1:34 this morning, last seen by the coppers been driven along Hereford heading towards Kelso at 2am. Rego SJ-422. Bugger.

18.01.2022 *.* Happy 4th Birthday *.* parkrunners, this time 4 years ago, we were excitedly checking all the kit to make sure we were ready for our very first Bathurst parkrun. We miss that Friday night ritual of packing the car with flags and signs. We miss the Saturday morning ritual of watching first the trickle then the flood of our parkrunners arriving. We miss the ritual of checking the volunteer board and thanking those generous souls as they head off to thei...r roles. We miss the ritual of taking the "Golden Stage" milk crate over to the chute and briefing you all on what was happening for the day. We miss the the smiles, the hellos, the waves and the excited chatter of friends catching up on the week that was ending. We miss the high fives and the encouragement as every participant past every other participant on our unique outnback-loop course! We miss the elated, sweaty hugs as people crossed the line, happy with their time, their effort or their achievement. We miss the coffees afterwards at The Brew, checking over the results and making sure that results all went out, every single week (192 events and not a single catastrophe with times and results!) We miss you guys. And we cant wait for parkrun to be back for all of our community, who miss it desperately as well. But for now, take a moment to look over these photos from our launch and please leave a message below - what is your favourite memory or photo from parkrun? Tell us what youve been up to. And please continue to stay safe, ~ Jenn and Stephen

16.01.2022 PROFILING OUR PARKRUN: At a time where we are encouraged to socially distance ourselves, we are mindful of the risk of us becoming socially isolated as a result. Over the last four years, we have become part of something much bigger than just a running group. Bathurst parkrun is our tribe, our people, our friends and our community. You guys contribute more to our lives than you can ever imagine. We cant wait until we can see you all together again, but until then, plea...se lets stay connected. Dont let each other fall through the cracks - check in on your friends and family and those parkrunners whose face you know <3 We thought it might be some lovely fun to profile our parkrunners, to find out a little bit more about you all. Please share this post as far and wide as you can - tag all your parkrunning friends and tell us a bit about yourself :) We will start sharing our profiles this weekend :) https://forms.gle/2wtkfNengcZHKPXv9 Thank you to all of you who have checked in on us this week... it was a sad one, but we know it has to happen. We are doing OK. ~ EDs Jenn and Stephen
