24.01.2022 Bathurst Winter Festival Road Closures A section of Russell Street will be closed between George and William Streets from 6am Saturday 30 June until Saturday 28... July. Pedestrian access will remain to the Civic Centre, Bathurst Court House, Mitchell Conservatorium and Historical Society Building during this period. Vehicle access to Court House Lane for authorised vehicles only, including Emergency Services and Court House staff and limited Council staff will be managed by the Events Manager. Church Street will be closed to all vehicles on Friday 6 July at 2pm and will reopen Sunday 8 July at 6am. Church Street will be closed to all vehicles on Saturday 14 July at 6am and will reopen Sunday 15 July at 6am. Businesses and residents who use the car park behind the Scots Centre will have access into the car park via the gate next to the Post office on Howick Street on Saturday 7 July and 14 July. The road closures will not interfere with Sunday Church timetables.

23.01.2022 George and Howick Streets roundabout reconstruction to commence in the New Year. The intersection of George and Howick Streets will be reconstructed in the New ...Year with stormwater drainage works commencing on Wednesday 2 January. The first stage of the project involves water crews relocating the water mains that are underneath the roundabout. This will have impact on traffic flow for the duration of the work, which will take approximately 5 weeks. It is anticipated the second stage will commence on Tuesday 5 February where the roundabout will be fully closed to traffic while it is replaced and rebuilt.
