20.01.2022 Please join us for our service today (Sunday 19th April 2020) by clicking on this link: https://vimeo.com/409125344/9349a60b5e Like our previous services it includes glimpses of people from our church community. It was pre-recorded so can be played at any time. More workshop resources for this week are available on our website: http://www.bathurstunitingchurch.com.au/template-2/... This week’s resources include children’s and adults’ resources from Roots on the Web and Pray as you Go. Don’t forget that Rev. Claire sent out these and other resources for workshop and devotions on 22nd March. You can find them here: http://www.bathurstunitingchurch.com.au/worship-devotional/ Thanks for your enthusiastic response to the weekly services. Did you know our Easter services were watched over 450 times by people from across Bathurst, Australia and the world (including USA, Iceland, Solomon Islands, New Zealand)?
19.01.2022 Things are well underway for the beginning of Uniting Safe Shelter in 2019. If you would like to be involved, here are some items that you can donate.
18.01.2022 How special is this. Recently our KUCA (Kids club) team and Rev Claire put packs together for each of the children who attend KUCA and our Playgroup. These packs were full of activities and resources to help the kids at this time while they are at home. These special ladies are part of that team. ... Thankyou
15.01.2022 When we think of winter we think of warm clothes, food and shelter. In late 2017, Bathurst Uniting Church started to explore the idea of creating a space for homeless men in Bathurst to stay during winter so they can keep warm and be safe. In mid 2018, with the help of numerous churches and organisations in Bathurst, Uniting Safe Space was opened and provided a place for homeless men to stay.... Because of the overwhelming support and need for such a service, the Uniting Safe Shelter committee decided to launch the program in to 2019 to continue this valuable program. Here are ways that you can be involved in 2019 - donate linen - donate bathroom needs - Donate underpants, thin socks, warm coats, and track pants (All brand new) - donations of biscuits, milo, coffee, UHT milk and tea - volunteer at the space overnight (training will be provided) - volunteers for an hour or two a week to do cleaning, laundry runs and other miscellaneous jobs - Donate funds to make sure the program is able to run now and well in to the future Drop this page a message if you would like to offer help or donations

11.01.2022 Thinking of all those affected by the fires and terrible weather conditions this week. We continue to pray for those heroically battling the fire fronts, those supporting communities in evacuation centres , those struggling to save homes and animals, and most of all, those who have already tragically lost everything. Our hearts break. Please keep up to date with RFS warnings and information - and look after yourselves and your loved ones and neighbours. Rev Claire Wright, BATHURST Uniting Church
