21.01.2022 Now having had time to sit back and reflect on our 2nd annual bull sale held on the 6th of July we are still extremely pleased and overwhelmed with the sale day proceedings and results. 23/23 Battalion & Cara Park bulls sold for an average of $7434 with the top price of $15,000 for Lot 2 Battalion Blackjack P058 to John Smith. 19.01.2022 Very pleased to see a great line of Blackhawk females at the recent Thornleigh dispersal sale which we managed to pick up a couple of what we thought were the better ones in the sale. Pictured below are two of our own heifers. The heifer on the left is by Battalion Bomber, Bomber was by Black Hawk and sold to Newcomen Herefords in 2019. The heifer on the right (in the photo of the pair) is a direct daughter of Black Hawk. He would have to be one of the more consistent breeding sires we have used.

Our bulls sold for a very healthy and greatly appreciated average of $14,250 and topped at $24,000 for Lot 17 Battalion Memphis Q080 to Karoonda Herefords Our combined Battalion & Cara Park bull sale recorded a 100% clearance for a combined average of $11,250. So many great people to thank that played a massive role in yesterdays results that it just doesn’t seem worthy to simply list them below, instead we will endeavour to personally get in touch with everyo...ne of you. Is there any more rewarding feeling for decades of determination, hard work and loving what you do paying off. We think not.
