25.01.2022 Caption this! This bold Pelican decided he was after some fish and chips on the NSW Central Coast. He even obeyed social distancing rules! The Entrance Pelic...an colony has around 80 birds, who are fed (fresh fish) by volunteers everyday at 3.30pm. Pelicans are checked for any health conditions, and then they fly back to their nests or go for a paddle in the water. PS. Despite his best efforts, he didn't receive his order. Wildlife rescues suggest never to feed pelicans meat, chicken or bread. Pet food and pet sausage are particularly bad. : Patrick Cardona // Angel's Cottage
