Heres where to apply your oils: Inside elbow creases - The lung, pericardium and heart channels run through elbow creases, meaning oils quickly enter the lungs and heart when applied here. Youll experience the sensation of opening of your chest and feeling lighter. Inside of wrist creases - An easy and accessible location. Lung, pericardium and heart channels also run through here. Oils move quickly to the chest. Inside forearms - when you roll up and down the inside of forearms, oils rapidly enter the bloodstream and circulate throughout the body as many veins are close to the surface. Best location for instant change in emotional state. Back of neck or spine - Quick access to the brain. Apply here when you need mental clarity. Over the heart area - Best place to apply when dealing with heartache and disappointment. Apply on the sternum (between breasts) not over literal heart. Around belly button - apply oils related to protection and boundaries here. Up and down midline of belly - for issues related to confidence and self-worth. The belly has many serotonin receptors that contribute to feelings of happiness and self- esteem. An immediate shift can be felt applying oils here.
