15.01.2022 Battery Hill Mining Centre Incorporated held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) this afternoon at the Tennant Creek Visitor Information Centre. This year's AGM wa...s very well attended with an experienced and diverse Management Committee elected for a term of two (2) years: - Steve Baldwin (Chairperson) - Steve Moore (Deputy Chairperson - Nick Prus-Mroczkowski (Secretary) - Steve Russell (Committee) - Roddy Calvert (Committee) - Brian Coleman (Committee) - Justin Hankinson (Committee) - Craig Kelly (Committee) - Steven Edgington (Committee) I'm also glad to hear that Helen E Kempe has agreed to stay on as the Treasurer. I would like to thank all fellow Committee members (past & present), the management & staff of Battery Hill and all members for their support and ongoing commitment.

05.01.2022 After a real pleasant weather wise day on Wednesday conditions have warmed up considerably today though. The hot days do seem to keep the visitor numbers low. Our Visitor Centre is air-conditioned and an ideal spot to stop off and refresh if you are travelling through the region. Christmas merchandise is cropping up all over the place. Well I guess its a little over six weeks to ago. Stuck for Kris Kringle (Secret Santa) pressie's.... the Battery Hill Mining Centre has so...me great gift ideas plus if you are travelling away for the festive season come and grab local souvenir items that make ideal presents too.
