04.01.2022 We recently completed this Hilux canopy build. All custom designed and manufactured by our team. We did however take advantage of the fact that enerdrive have a cnc router and a fancy printer to do our circuit breaker panel. 400 ah of lithium batteries Simarine battery monitor... 2000 watt inverter with 3 seperate AC outlets across the canopy for ease of access. 15 amp AC input (like a caravan) for ease of connection to mains power. 40 amp AC charger Alternator charger or dc2dc charger Morningstar mppt solar controller connected to 520 watts of solar on the roof top tent. We have seen up to 32 amps of input from the solar when testing. We made the board so the ends are at a 45 degree angle for ease of access and use. Greg also had us install his travel buddy, arb twin compressor, dunn and watson draws, msa fridge slide, mongoose dash cam. Bundutec shower cube and heaps of other gear. It is an overkill system but thats how you stay off-grid for as long as you want and doing it in style. We will be doing a video on this build shortly to better explain what all the components do and why.
