16.01.2022 A brilliant afternoon of cricket in the sun, raising money to support the tertiary and vocational education of hundreds of deserving young student in India and Sri Lanka. Thanks to our event partners - Lion Nathan, Nexba, Kingsgrove Sports Centre and Dyenamic Sublimation - for making the day possible, and to Newington College for generously hosting our event.
15.01.2022 NEED A LAST MINUTE GIFT IDEA? We’ve had an incredible start to the Batting for Change summer so far. We’ve played Backyard Cricket in the PMs Backyard, the BFC Cup expanded into the WBBL and we’ve seen some amazing companies in action at our annual Corporate Challenge at Newington College, but we’ll be honest: a little over half way through our summer, we still have a long way to go in our fundraising. By January 18, we’re hoping to raise $30,000 to make sure that we can meet... our commitment to CandleAid, one of our very favourite projects in Sri Lanka. CandleAid do some amazing work, and it can cost as little as $200 to support a student through one year of education. After a devastating year, Sri Lanka needs our help more than ever. In the coming weeks, in line with the BFC Cup matches at the SCG on December 28 and Sydney Showground Stadium on January 18, we’ll be bringing you the stories of some of the 170 students who are so worthy of your support. We’d love for you to consider making a Christmas donation to support a student in need, it will take one minute of your time and it can literally change a life. https://www.battingforchange.com.au/donate
