22.01.2022 On the 17th June last year God orchestrated a prayer event at SUNCORP Stadium where over 700 Christians from over 20 churches prayed for our city & nation. (Lang Park was named after Rev. John Dunmore Lang who mobilised a missionary movement for Australia & the Pacific Islands in the 1830s. The site was also an Indigenous tribal meeting ground). This year lets unite together ONLINE as ONE BODY to rebuild an altar of prayer & raise a battle cry for REVIVAL & REFORMATION and the outpouring of Gods Spirit upon Brisbane, Australia & the nations during this time of transition! 16.01.2022 What is Shabbat SHUVAH? It is the sabbath that falls between Rosh Hashanah (18th Sept 2020) and Yom Kippur (27-28th Sept 2020) - it means the SABBATH of RETURN. This word "shuvah" has the same root as "teshuvah" which means repentance - it literally means "return". Jews read Hosea 14:2-10, Joel 2:15-27, and Micah 7:18-20. ... Hosea focuses on the worldwide call to repentance and the benefits of divine healing and restoration. Joel says blow a Shofar to UNITE the people in fasting and supplication. One of the key themes of Hosea is to return to the PATHS of righteousness. This period is also known to Jews as the TEN days of Repentance - it is seen as an OPPORTUNITY for CHANGE.
