23.01.2022 Gday Everyone! With the new milsim Operation: Taurus being written and getting organised in the background, there are a few things we are after in Battlefield SA and I hope the SA community can help. We are after some defected vehicles to be built into tanks/technicals for the next milsim.... We are after 2 x vans (like Mitsubishi Express etc) Possibly 1 x AWD vehicle. They dont need to have rego, can be defected, and can be missing panels, interiors etc............but MUST be drivable. We are willing to pay a small amount for certain vehicles but if anyone would like to donate a vehicle to the field for ongoing milsims, then it would be much appreciated. Building materials are also appreciated. If you have anything that could be used to make walls, fences, huts, bunkers etc, then let us know! Please PM us with what you have! :)

14.01.2022 Gday All! Just a heads up. The home field of Battlefield SA's events....Paintball Skirmish SA is now an approved gelball field as well as a paintball field. There will be some gelball games coming up in the future, most likely in 2021.... Keep checking back for more info soon!

14.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL "Operation: Black Sheep" players. URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT Over the past 4 weeks or so we have all seen what has been happening in world regarding the spread of the virus COVID-19.... Since the announcement of COVID-19 the BFSA admin for Operation Black Sheep have been working around the clock to make sure that OP Black Sheep would go ahead and make it the start of some the best gelball milsim games run in SA. We also promised that unless there was an urgent reason to stop the 24 hour milsim going ahead, that we would not cancel the event either. The last week has been very testing for Australians, South Australians and the BFSA admins and crew discussing COVID-19 and the Operation Black Sheep milsim 24 hour game. Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives for being able to run the 24 hour milsim game effectively and safely with regards to all players and admins involved when it comes to following a very strict ruleset set out by the government. What does this mean? Again, unfortunately this does mean that we will be postponing the Operation:Black Sheep 24 Hour milsim. We will not be cancelling the game, just postponing the event to a later date. This date will most likely be within the next 3 months, but this will also be pending if and when COVID-19 is under control on a state and federal level. Your tickets will still be valid and you will be kept on the same faction. Tickets will also be opened up again for people who did not get a chance to get a ticket before the ticket cutoff. If you decide that you would like a refund, then we will accommodate this. Please message the BFSA admin @ the BFSA - Gelball pages and we can get the ball rolling. (Please be aware that if you decide to take a refund that you will lose your spot in that faction, and if you decide to get another ticket, then you will be put in the faction that is needing players to fill up.) The health and safety of all gelball players in SA, and around Australia is Battlefield SA and Paintball Skirmish SA's number 1 priority, and we will never jeopardise any players safety especially in the situation that we have now in the current pandemic. Again, thank you all for your understanding in this case, and please understand that we did not want to postpone this event at all as so much time and effort has gone into it so far. More details of the milsim will come up soon, with more things added to make the game bigger and better over the coming weeks. As long as we all follow the current regulations, keep our hands clean and follow the rules, then I can see that we will be back on the battlefields very soon!... After hearing the SAPOL news conference and listening to what they had to say, I am surprised, disheartened and upset regarding the decision. SAGA (South Australian Gelball Association) who BFSA supports, have put a lot of effort and work behind the scenes including meetings with SAPOL to discuss how to regulate gel blasters without having to place them on firearms licencing.
